As a chocoholic I'm right there with you. I love my recipe for death by chocolate! You know, I was also thinking that the ultimate way to go would be death by chocolate. I'd have this smile on my face in the coffin . . .![]()

Sorry you are having such a tough time, right now. I hope you can work out the tech failures. The stock market? Who knows what it's going to do.Not a good week for electronics. First, my phone has been acting freaky by deleting my contacts, quite randomly, to the point where I have to go into backup to restore them two to three times a day. They told me it was Clouds fault. I don't care whose fault it is... fix it!
Then my Computer decided that it was time to go to that big computer storeroom in the sky, I guess. Maybe it's fixable, I have informed my related by blood computer experts and we are going to see if it's fixable. In the meantime, I limit my usage to "Safe Mode" because otherwise everything just freezes up.
So because I have been forced to cut down on my computer stupor, I thought well, hey, why not watch a few DVD's that I hadn't seen in awhile. Wanna guess what happened there? Of course, the DVD player has also died, probably out of neglect.
On top of that I don't even want to talk about what Wall Street has been doing to ruin my retirement. So, I'm not going to talk about that. I'm thinking that this was not a good year for me to let my sister, to talk me into that trip to Europe.
Anyway, that's the end of my Saturday mid-day whining. No guarantee that it won't come back up later in the day though.
I'm currently using Safe Mode on a limited basis until we can figure this out.
More cream and sugar! My mom made a lemon meringue pie once and thought the salt said tablespoons instead of teaspoons. Nasty!
As for coffee, I don't drink it and my husband really either, but it's expected that it will be served here when someone comes to your home. So, we do have a coffee machine and I watched my MIL make it and wrote it down and taped it too the front of the machine, but somehow, I don't know how, but the next time we made coffee, we followed the directions I wrote down and the amount of coffee was DOUBLE what it should have been and no one could drink it.
Yup, that's the part that worries me!The stock market? Who knows what it's going to do.

Retirement losses are hard to take. I hope it goes back up.Yup, that's the part that worries me!![]()
Agree!Yes.. NAP TIME fixes everything! (sorta lol )
They have to blame someone, or fix their inspection system. Guess what is cheaper? In other news.. they blamed Mexican tomatoes a few years ago (and it was actually a factory in the US that was contaminated)
now they are blaming Mexican cucumbers.. really?

Sympathy like. I hope it isn't broken.Update on step grandfather: They think he may have broken his hip. My grandmother texted and said they are getting x-rays done.
There is an old saying, trouble comes in threes. You've had 3. Enough is enough. I will keep you in my prayers, if that's okay.It really has not been a good few weeks in our circle.
First off, instead of being told I need PT for my thumb or a bit more healing time, I'm told I need surgery plus several weeks in a cast.
Last weekend, my brother's best friend, who is like another little brother for me, broke both bones in his ankle playing soccer and can't even go back to school for a few weeks because of it.
And now my step-grandfather breaks his hip, which is the worst out of all of these.
This has not been a few good weeks.![]()
I'll be back later to catch up, but I have a question. I did more number crunching, and I looked up the menus of the 4 table-service restaurants we are planning to eat at and I picked the things we were most likely to order and added it all together. It came out to about $570-$600 for those few meals. So I looked at how much it will cost to upgrade to the regular dining plan again and it was $600. So, we might as well go ahead and upgrade if it's going to cost the same...then we get 10 TS meals for that instead of just four. (Thanks @figmentfan423 for the suggestion) So my question is, if you could only choose ONE Table Service restaurant for your trip, which would be your go-to? I'll look at reviews and such too, and we won't be doing signature dining like Le Cellier, but I'd like to know if there's a consensus on which places are the best. Thanks!
I still love to try new things, with the same ingredients. Makes cooking fun!I started cooking around when I was ten. By that time my older sisters were married and my dad worked a lot. My sister and I were creative with whatever we found in the cupboards.
Did you know he was a minister? Not that it makes any difference. He did an interview where he decided that so many kids were sat in front of the TV, that he wanted to do a kids show, with a kind male figure.
DD and I watched his show everyday. That's another reason he was near and dear to my heart. I did love the message of his shows. I wish they would bring him back for today's little ones.I think that he had been in the marines too, and supposedly had a large tattoo on his arm and that was a reason for always wearing long sleeves. I loved Mr Rogers he had a great message. I was also a big Sesame Street fan. I was really disappointed that me niece never watched it, her mother had her watch Dora and Diego, the Wiggles, and other shows.
Good advice, I'm so glad your SGD did well in surgery. That's one load off your mind.Well, after a stressful day, I am going to read a book and then watch some Netflix. And to all the men out there: If you're about to do something stupid, and your wife tells you not to do it, listen to your wife.![]()
My best friend and I used to lay on top of her roof to get a suntan.I'd like to understand the fascination of men with getting on the roof. What the heck?
My BIL maybe 30 at the time fell off the roof cleaning the gutters and really tore up his knee. I looked out my back window years back and watched 5 middle school boys next door running all around the garage roof. The fascination starts young.
I hope it heals quickly, and well.Happy Sunday Ya'll
Joined the club last night. My mum took it upon herself to head out into the garden last night (late) to sort something and proceeded to fall.
One trip to A + E later and she has a broken arm ...

Are you looking at only in-park and at buffets or not? Character meals?I'll be back later to catch up, but I have a question. Yup, you're all the same...As a husband i have to say that when a wife says "don't do that" the husband hears that as "you can't do that" and takes it as a challenge.
Not saying we are right just how we think![]()
