The Jays are playing some phenomenal ball right now, but there's lots of season left. Let's be honest, they are due for a loss real soon, and I predict this afternoon may bring an end to the current streak.

I hope not.

Out for my nap. Got to get in the beauty sleep. What am I thinking? All the sleep in the world, won't change these wrinkles.

Sometimes, things may get a little worse before they get better. But, once you get through this challenging stretch, things will get better. I think that applies to mostly everything in life; no matter what the issue is, tomorrow is always another day with opportunities on the horizon, for better outcomes.

I can deal with a little worse, but when it's more than that, it can be exhausting when you know you still have to deal with it for several months. Otherwise, yes, I totally agree tomorrow is always another day!

I have great memories of watching The Legend of Sleepy Hollow with my Mom. Now, I watch it with the kids every year. Love that it was narrated by Bing Cosby. Wizard of Oz was always shown by my birthday. Both of my kids have read Watership Down, and can't believe that is a cartoon. I have to think my mom must have read it, or talked about it with some other parents, because I remember wanting to watch the cute bunny show, and not being allowed to. But I never missed Rikki Tikki Tavi.

Ah, Rikki Tikki Tavi is great! But I think I watched Watership fairly young and it was definitely not cute.

I have never seen the Johnny Depp version. The series I watched with DS through the first season, and then kinda lost interest during the second. I should see if I could get caught up.

Yeah, the series leaves something to be desired, as it seems like based on the story line it should've been done already?

Was it good. We have so many lights in the neighborhood, I don't try anymore.

Sympathy like. Same here - one of the disadvantages living in a sprawling urban area.

Our meat at Costco is really good, and I love their rotisserie chicken. Very yummy. And very tender. I've been known to bring one home, and eat nothing but chicken for my meal. A couple legs, a couple wings. I'm going to pick one up today. I debone it, throw the carcass in the trash (tomorrow is trash day), so it doesn't get stinky.

Ah, we are chicken twins! I also love dark meat and especially Costco's.

Good news we're booking the hotel for the ride down this weekend, we have it down to 2. One we've stayed at it's OK for a quick stop clean and cheap, the other is a little fancier but we're not sure if it's worth it just for grabbing a few hours of sleep.

I vote for cheap, so the difference can be used for snacks or souvenirs!
