At least you still have one so enjoy it, regardless of their coffee . . . We have ONE big book store left (a Barnes & Noble) and it's a free-standing store, not in a mall or anything. There's a tiny independent store in a town nearby (no coffee, no chairs--no room for them inside!) and I always go and shop there each year for some Christmas presents. I like supporting small businesses when I can. :)

We have both a B&N and a Half Price Books less than 5 min. from the house.
Unfortunately (because I like books;)), I haven't been to either in quite some time.
Can't even remember the title of the last book I purchased at B&N, but, the last book I picked up at HPB was "The Hand Behind the Mouse", the Ub Iwerks biography. :)
Although there are none in our immediate area, there are still several independent, single location, bookstores in Austin.

We only have Barnes & Noble too. Like yours its free standing. We used to have Borders also, which I liked the best. Our Barnes & Noble store has so much nook space, there is hardly any room left for books. So disappointing. We do have good news, our tiny library is moving to a new bigger place and will house more books! I can't wait. :D

I remember back when all the malls seemed to have both a Borders and a Walden. :geek:

Nope. That's Teri C.
Thanks though, I always thought she was the prettiest girl in class when we were younger.

If it's any help ... my Mom was either 9 months pregnant, or actually in the hospital for 10 days (yes, that's how long they kept you back then), so I clearly dressed myself that morning.

OK, in all fairness, I do remember skimming one post on here that said which one is you, but, since it was so long ago, I honestly don't remember . Plus this is the first time I've gotten to see it on anything besides my phone.
Sooo...
To me, it looks like you are front row, second from left. That just looks like a kid version of your face, to me...? o_O

Maybe take some Advil or aspirin (NSAIDS help inflammation to go down). A few weeks ago, I was walking through the woods and twice I twisted my left ankle, which in turn messed up my left knee. It's still not right yet. :banghead: So, to recap, that's you, @JenniferS and me that are currently on the disabled list. (I suppose no one else wants to join us? ;) )

Pass. ;)
