I only had brussle sprouts once that I liked. Then I found out how much butter had gone into cooking them. I don't think it was healthy anymore, so I just avoid them. It isn't hard to do.
They don't have to be cooked in butter, they can be boiled and have a little smidgeon of butter, for flavor put on them after cooking. Basically, they are good for you. Any substitute will do.

I'm out for the evening. My hip, after an Advil is still hurting. My heart is hurting, since I didn't understand Cesar R M, I'm hoping he will forgive my mistake. My mind doesn't comprehend as well at night. I ' m going to bed, as I'm physically and emotionally exhausted. Bless you all, and have a good night's sleep. To Cesar R M, I'm truly sorry.

I hope you'll sleep well which may help both problems, and I'll "check" on you early in the morning (before work if you're up early) to see how you're doing.

Has anyone checked out all the picture from Shanghai Disney. I'm sure we all seen a few here and there. The park look huge and amazing but I would never go to China unless I have to.

Yes, the pictures of Shanghai Disney are awesome so far. Think I'd also rather stay State-side for the time being. At work, however, I have a number of bosses, etc. who travel to China a few times a year for business. They seem to enjoy it. (They're not the types to ever go to Disney, but they enjoy short trips to China.)

There was nothing to forgive. I am not angry, I am not annoyed. I still do not see how you think I was annoyed or angry.
I never was o_O

I tried to explain to you my quirky schedule (which needs naps and why I always reply the forums thread by thread. Hence why i didn't reply to you right away)

Betty Rose, you often get upset over misunderstandings that really aren't misunderstandings.

For the most part, everyone here gets along. If someone is legitimately pi$$ed at you, you'll know. Relax dear lady, and enjoy the comraderie.

I only skimmed your exchange (the alien one, right?), and I never got the sense that Cesar was upset.

Stop upsetting yourself and go take care of that hip.
Thats correct. If I was pi$sed, I would be throwing F bombs left and right and left immediately to play some violent game to calm down.
In reality, I had just arrived from a very early showing of Ant Man, then ate food.. and I was feeling sleepy (NAP TIME!)
I tried to explain as fast I could by replying the private message you sent( because I was about to pass out).

I am not angry and never was on this case. Just a mere case of me being very passionate on the scifi stuff.

POR is great! :)
We stayed there during our first 2 family trips in '01 and '04.
We've only stayed at values since, 'cause we're really only in the resort room to clean up and crash. Other than that, we're out and about. :)
Seconding POR.
Its very calm, wide and you will love to walk around.
Only bad?
you have to walk a lot if you get one of the farther "plantation houses" (specially the princesses ones).
and the QF area gets swamped easily with people.

Hi guys. Have been very busy the last few days, and when I'm not busy, I'm napping or watching Netflix. Thinking of putting the kibash on all activities and staying home Wednesday to get some rest. You probably won't see me until at least then as I have plans every other day this week. Lots going on, including a day trip up to Hershey Park this week, for which I am very excited.

Anyway, quite exhausted, and heading up to see my one friend who lives an hour away, and I've never been there before. So after I print some directions, going to watch some Netflix and go to bed. She moved a while back, and since then, she's come down to see me several times (and is supposed to AGAIN in the near future; she's coming down to see several of us later this week), so my turn. Plus, her apartment complex has a pool and she has yet to use it, and it's hot.

Anyway, yes I'm having a good summer. Will check in later .

Also, stepgrandfather is doing much better, though my grandmother has been very anxious, so someone is texting her or calling her every day or every other day. We think it helps her to keep calm. Even though she does have a support system where she lives, other than my jailbird cousin, she has no family nearby (we're the closest at one hour away), and she pretty much needs to hear from someone about every day right now. She was diagnosed with anxiety before I was even born (hospitalized for it actually), so with my stepgrandfather doing poorly, just better to call her and make sure he's doing okay and she's not overreacting or getting too anxious. Going to visit her within the next few weeks at least once.

laptop issues again? what kind of issues? the same ones as before?

Nope. Black screen with text that says...

"Boot Device Not Found

Hard Disk (3F0)

F2 System Diagnostics

Have no clue when or how the operating system would have been "uninstalled" on the hard disk right in the middle of using the computer...!?

I cried every time I left my doggies, that's why I have chosen to go without, until I quit traveling. Then I want the older cast offs, they need a good last of life.

I don't remember ever not having a pup in a family home.
My folks (mom is 76, pop 82) decided not to get another dog after their toy fox terrier, Zeke, passed a few years ago.
That little guy went almost everywhere with them. Who knows, they may still get another one at some point, but, they too, still travel quite a bit.
As a matter of fact, right now, they're in Hot Springs, Arkansas for their 55th wedding anniversary, which is where they spent their honeymoon. :)

Isn't it just amazing all the different "layers" of entertaining things there are at WDW. People usually focus on the rides, some of the shows, landscaping (especially in Epcot) some meet and greets, etc. Then there's the music playing in the background . . . it has a subliminal effect on us all. The music contributes so much to the overall experience, and it's easy to forget sometimes, just how much of an impact it makes. :)

I think some of my favorite background music has to go back to my first trip to WDW, in the mid-80s, with my mother. I recall one evening we were walking past Spaceship Earth, and I heard that incredible space-age sounding, background music. Between the dark nighttime sky and the twinkling lights as we headed for the exits, I felt like I was walking along in another galaxy!! :inlove:

You really should take the time to read some books on Disney Imagineering.
Pretty sure the design philosophies, science, execution, etc., would fascinate you, as it does me...! :)
