For me, there are enough people with my name that I don't mind sharing it, but I don't share pics of myself. Pictures of myself are reserved for Facebook. But I don't fault members who DO want to share pics. All depends. :)

I shared pics without thinking during Disney vacation. I am a very trusting person. I trust all of you on here, didn't think about others hacking . Oh well, what's done is done. I was more than happy to share our wonderful vacation, and would do it again. Hubby may not let me. Oh, well I love pictures of Disney, and whatever anyone posts, is an extra vacation for me. :happy::joyfull:

Bad news: He said at least another 6 weeks of recovery, that this could be a six month recovery (he said this is worse than a break), and that there is a possibility that I will need surgery down the line. :arghh::banghead:

For now, though, just giving it time.

Ouch StarWarsGirl95, six month's is a very long time for recovery. I will keep you in my prayers tonight about your thumb, and all will work out for the best, whatever that might be. I always leave the higher power to figure that out. It seems to be the best for our family. I hope the very best for you.

I know there are problems lurking out there, but, a few random pictures of a vacation trip are not a threat to anything, in my opinion. They record where you have been, not where you are at the moment. It is nothing like saying... "Well, I'm in Room XXXX, in the Grand Floridian where we are staying for the rest of the week. I'm a little worried because I brought all my diamonds and am having to store them in the room all the while we are in the parks, between 7am and 11pm."

To me it's the same as all the concern about Disney tracking in the parks. Oh, they'll know where you are! No, they will know where you were when it was recorded, not where you are 10 minutes later. Each time it records, the process starts all over. The old camera system could follow you physically not with just radio waves.

In the Parks

What I intended to do upon getting home this afternoon: eat some soup, then go to my room and watch Netflix.

What I have actually done: fixed the Wii (every now and then, the light on the front turns off. You have to unplug the power cord from the unit and the wall, wait two minutes, and then plug it in. Unfortunately, when I told my brother's friend how to do that, he unplugged everything and then couldn't figure out how to plug everything back in. *sigh* I got it working again, and then showed my mother what to do) determined that a printer ink cartridge on my parents' printer is defective and needs to go back to the store, and did some random maintenance on my dad's computer.

Now that today's major technology issues have been taken care of for today, I will enjoy my 22 hours at home before having to be out the door again. After I help my mom with dinner.

wow, how bad was the whole thing to cause such damage?

in the good side.. you wont be killing anyone with THAT THUMB horst Style.

Facebook can be.. sorta safe as long you keep things in FRIENDS ONLY mode.

by tightening the security.
so only YOU and YOUR FRIENDS (not their friends and friends) can see the content.

That means you will have control WHAT and to WHO to share.
