I haven't seen him around today so fingers crossed. One pic of something was nice, 8 of the same not so much.
He'll be quiet for a little while. I won't go into detail, but, I can tell you that he PM'd me and is pretty upset with me right now. The funny thing is that I don't mind him posting, but, he really does need to learn how to respect other people and follow accepted rules that make reading posts fun for everyone. All he's ever had to do was to listen to the advice of others here and make his own thread.
@Goofyernmost THNX for your suggestion. For the ride home my dh and I have decided to stop at DTD, maybe one last ADR and wing the hotel north. Saving a few dollars is not worth the risk of getting over tired, not knowing how the day will go. We won't be in a rush as we'll still have a few days extra off just in case or just to sleep.
You're welcome. I know I shouldn't worry about other people, but, having been a professional driver, I have seen a lot of things that really shouldn't have happened. They happened due to fatigue. In today's world on today's highways, the monotony of the road itself is a real factor unless one can stay alert. Very smart choice, in my opinion. That will help insure a happy ending to a great trip.

Went back to the doctor about my thumb.

Good news: he does not think I completely tore the ligament. Just partially. So for now, no surgery.
Bad news: He said at least another 6 weeks of recovery, that this could be a six month recovery (he said this is worse than a break), and that there is a possibility that I will need surgery down the line. :arghh::banghead:

For now, though, just giving it time.

Sympathy like and a big hug. I did that to my ankle a long time ago. It got put in a cast(at least it was pink), joy of joys. The good news by letting it heal I avoided surgery. I hope you are as lucky as I was.:hilarious: Get well soon!

I think it's totally a personal preference. I, myself, like my privacy. I get irked by a few even here that are adament of knowing my real name. Why? I'm the same person with just using my screen name. And I'm not saying that's bad if you use your real name, that's your personal choice. :)
I always just assumed it was something unusual that you didn't want to share with the crowd. :) I just kind of think of you as Mox or Moxie (which was my tabby's name:joyfull:). I'm curious as to what it means, but I've known you, what, two years now, and figured if you wanted to share, you would have shared. No biggie. :)

For me, there are enough people with my name that I don't mind sharing it, but I don't share pics of myself. Pictures of myself are reserved for Facebook. But I don't fault members who DO want to share pics. All depends. :)

The point is just do not mention too much personal information.

I think some photos there and here are fine.
But not if you go into barrage of posting where you are 24/7.
I had a cousin who was so addicted to twitter and facebook.. and he posted his whereabouts every hour or so. (including GPS or place information)
Many people did this, then people started to get easily kidnapped thanks to this information. (didnt help the "friend" frenzy on facebook, where idiots added everyone as friends, and they ended adding a kidnapper).

But giving every single detail of personal life.. is indeed a red flag.
Thanks so much Cesar R M, I have never thought of the things that can happen. Hubby has told me to keep off Twitter and facebook, now I understand why. He just told me not to do it. I have never understood, now I know why.
