Ads drive me crazy, too. But Madison Avenue knows they work, at least to a point . . .

The big thing in marketing is synergy. I find it very distracting when I want to just view a store's web site, and all these stupid ads pop up from "other" retailers, service companies, etc. on the top, bottom or sides of the web page I'm viewing. The ads have nothing at all to do with (for example, if I'm looking at dresses online), and may include ads for kitchen appliances, cars, vacations or even dating sites. All of it turns me off, and I refuse to ever click on those.

I don't mind ads on this WDW Magic forum, however, as it helps to support the forum and the great work of Steve and his moderators. That's different. So I just wanted to make the distinction between ads that I find acceptable (those on here) and those that are just nuisances on retailer's (and other) web sites.

Yep, my pop has one serious smoker (he usually uses either mesquite or oak), and everything always comes out delectable...!

Whew. I figured he'd think I was a nutcase for using my crockpot and a bottle of barbecue sauce (that was on sale)!

They have over 3 more hours to cook in the crockpot, and what I can tell you is that my dog (Jack) was just sighted with his front paws up on the kitchen counter, sniffing the outside of the crock pot!!!

he was probably trying to pull a Mission Impossible maneouver on the ribs!

My dh uses, hickory, maple &/or apple depending on what's in his smoker. No big mesquite fans here

When I took that pic of my food, the waiter asked me if I wanted a picture of me with my food. Embarrassingly, I declined.

By the way, has any one noticed that SIRI has been having a bit of an attitude lately?

@betty rose , I think I'll be going through picture withdrawal now that your vacation is over!! Thank you for brightening up my day(s) by posting such wonderful photos. The nice thing about WDW is that there are many fun things to do and see, for children of all ages!! Thanks for taking us along on your vacation!!

Now why would this only be a warning to California residents? Disney Store website
CA Residents: Proposition 65
WARNING: This product contains chemicals known to the state of California to cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm.

That's odd, as it's a leather bag, and not synthetic (which I would assume would contain all kinds of chemicals in the manufacturing process). I wonder if it's the inside lining that's being targeted. I've seen that CA Residents: Proposition 65 warning on a number of things (not just from the Disney Store).
