Spent most of today helping my brother with his school project. He had to make a book on the first 10 amendments for the constitution. As I was working with him today, doing the formatting so that basically, he would just have to cut out and glue whole pages to the book that they gave him to work on, my mom was reminding me of all of the science projects she had to help me with. Then, after I was finished, she says, "Payback is a b****h, isn't it?"
Agree.Ha! But that is what we parents do. Your brother is fortunate as are your folks, he basically has the equivalent of 3 parents to help him along. Your ultimate payback someday if you ever decided to have children would be to send them to Grandma's to help with a science project.
You really are a good big sister.![]()
Important information... disappointing in what way? Too short? No story? Not fast enough? Not enough detail? Short, yes it doesn't last long. It is longer then RnRC and that doesn't seem to generate a lot of complaints. Story, unless they rode through the mine section with their eyes closed, I don't see how that is possible. Fast, I can't think of a single reason why an attraction in Fantasyland should be faster then it is already. Detail, the most I have seen in any attraction built in WDW in a long time. I think ToT was the last big one. Even Everest does not get my top theming prize due to the exposed blank rear wall visible from the parking lot.My family rode the Mine Train (we missed out by a week last year), said it was quick and disappointing.
hmm.. what does the TSA has to do with Disney's bag service?I trust Disney more than the TSA
Though one year, we had another people's luggage in our room. And one of our bags were sent later last year (same day though).
I never pack valuables in my luggage. Everything of that nature goes into my carry on
it is good, but too short (the scenes). My family rode the Mine Train (we missed out by a week last year), said it was quick and disappointing.
dont these cards expire?I haven't been to a Barnes and Noble in a long time. I got a gift card a couple years ago that I haven't used but since I have a Kindle and my book collection is huge, why buy more real books. So anyway, I was like maybe I'll buy movies or cds but they don't anymore. They replaced it. They went all Toys'r'us on it.
For the record....they have movies but the amount of movies they have....you can count with two hands. They have more vinyls than movies and no cds.
I also really think customer service is dead.
I'm not sure. Our kids get us a gift card at Christmas, we love books so much...it's like money. Never has time to expire.dont these cards expire?

I understand that is a disappointment that covers many topics.Too short.
I hope anyone can translate that commercial... cause I cant understand what the old man says.
Too short.
Especially once you've seen how much longer the ride was supposed to be before budget cuts.![]()
I'm so tired of hearing budget cuts....when will be hearing budget additions....(plussing).. Walt's day....the "world" has changed before our eyes...I can adjust, as everything..in clothing, food, restaurants, have had a steep decline since the last (depression), okay they call it recession...what ever anyone wants to call it...it costs more to do or buy anything anymore...wages don't keep place...My hope for this generation, and the next is we will go back to prosperity, as happened after the Great Depression" everybody pulling together to pull all of us up. I have no doubt, I may not see this. I'm just hoping for all who comes after this generation....I'm 67, incase anyone missed my age. For me, and some of my age, were able to work hard...and get some return, (my parent's did better than us)...so I'm really hoping for a turnaround. Forgive this long post...but most people want their kids and grandkids to do better.
That's interesting. I'd love if you could find and post the original plans but no pressure if you can't. Oh please and thank you.Especially once you've seen how much longer the ride was supposed to be before budget cuts.![]()
I wish I could go there, probably too many hours on a plane...(I have circulation problems, and I can't do long flights anymore, as most people want a direct flight , I like a two or three hour layover, time to stretch the legs, and maybe have time to use facilities), yes getting old is so much fun. Sorry about the earlier rant. I didn't know I was venturing into politics. This was just my observations, over the last 12 years or so. IMHO I understand people have different points of view. My main point of the "rant", I want the best for the kids and grandkids and so on.Still happens at Tokyo Disneyland. Maybe I'll get to go there one day.
