I did this since they took WAY TOO MUCH on my first trip. I was disappointed that they lost one of my bags (the most important one) and they "found it" almost at 1:00 am.
We were exhausted and wanted to sleep. and I couldn't because of this.

So in my second trip (this february) I definitively did everything myself.
Picked them up.. then gave them directly to the bus driver..

I was surprised how many people did that as well.
I guess not everyone trusts Disney's bag system.

I trust Disney more than the TSA

Though one year, we had another people's luggage in our room. And one of our bags were sent later last year (same day though).

I never pack valuables in my luggage. Everything of that nature goes into my carry on

Is it worth a FP+? THNX
I would say yes and no. Yes because you get on fairly quickly so that's good but no because I actually like the interactive line. There are some games in there that are actually really cute such as getting all the barrels spinning to see Snow White on the ceiling. The line is mostly covered, well ventilated with a lot of fans and moves quickly.
I will know more after my trip but also pose the same question to others to see what they think.
I guess my final answer is no. If you are only given 3 fastpasses to start out with then the 3 mountains, Peter Pan, and HM would be better to FP+. If you don't like any of those than FP+ the Mine Train.

I think the 7 D Mine Train is worth a FP+, the line can get really long. And while the ride is fun, it is short and I would rather not wait in line. If you don't get a FP+, you can always join the mad rush at the start of the day. I did that twice and each time I was near the front of the line and then there was a delay in opening the ride, so I still waited about 20-25 minutes at park open. I have also popped in the line right before the park closes and each time the wait was about 15-20 minutes.

I think it could also depend on what your like to do and time of the visit. I don't often ride Splash (I don't like getting wet on rides) or Space Mountain (as I find the cars uncomfortable and the ride bumpy) so I wouldn't get FP+ for those, it would be a waste for me. HM or even Pirates for that matter, I love these rides, but I wouldn't FP+ it either because I have had good luck even at super busy times riding it with minimal wait either early in the day or late at night. But rides that I enjoy, even if they are short like mine train or Peter Pan that tend to build up huge lines, I think it is beneficial to use a FP+ on them.

Just a side note, while I do not like Space Mountain at WDW I LOVE it at Disneyland. The cars are easier to get into and the ride seems smoother. I don't really do Splash at either parks, I enjoy the ride before the drop on both, I just don't like getting wet on ride, but I do think Splash at WDW is better than Disneyland's.

My carry on consists of a couple days clothes, and medications. A few personal items, book and that's it.

We went to dinner with the kiddos and son-in-law, but, the boat cruise, and wine and sea salt brownies :hungry:, was all ours...!

My Tsingtao (yes, a Chinese beer at a Japanese restaurant ;))...

I haven't been to a Barnes and Noble in a long time. I got a gift card a couple years ago that I haven't used but since I have a Kindle and my book collection is huge, why buy more real books. So anyway, I was like maybe I'll buy movies or cds but they don't anymore. They replaced it. They went all Toys'r'us on it.

For the record....they have movies but the amount of movies they have....you can count with two hands. They have more vinyls than movies and no cds.

I also really think customer service is dead.
