So, with no cable or internet, we headed out to some place where we could watch the games. Somewhere with multiple screens. Wacky Wings Pladium it was.

Hubby's Caesar. With yucky croutons.
Your pictures looks amazing. I love your food choices. What was that chocolate drink? It looks might tasty.

I had the Sante Fe chicken wrap, with the $1.99 up-charge Caesar salad. No croutons.
The wrap was excellent, but I would have preferred a higher red pepper to green pepper ratio.

Salad was meh. Not a fan of the cheap Parmesan sprinkles.

Mike ordered four pounds of wings:

(Garlic Butter Parm in front - sooooooo good, Bourbon something or other in the rear.)

As I'm sure you can imagine, we brought 1/2 wrap and 2/3 of the wings home.

Home; where we still have no cable or internet.
Guess who will be going to bed early and starting a new book.
Jennifer, what kind of books do you like to read?

I know. I always throw him a like, because amazingly and amusingly, he's one of the few voices of reason on that thread sometimes.

I can't recall ever agreeing with Goofyernmost. You might consider me a "doom and gloomer" but I hate that expression. :(

Walt Disney is my hero. I didn't have much of a Father growing up and weird as it may seem I saw Walt Disney as a Father figure. I would stay up late to watch Walt present Disneyland/The Wonderful World of Color and think to myself "I wish I had a Dad like that." Maybe the whole thing is silly but that's why I care so much about what happens to his company. It's clear to me that Disney currently isn't living up to the standard he set and I feel like I have to call the company out on that.

Oh my goodness! Now THAT was a find!! :inlove: I can't even imagine how much nicer the parks would look in that older book, without all the kiosks, etc. cluttering up the views; I'll bet there's a few benches to sit on in those photos, too?!! ;)

Also, just the term, "coffee table book" is something I haven't heard for quite some time. I recall my mother used to always have a coffee table book displayed nicely, in the livingroom. We had a few of them with different subjects, and she'd rotate them from time to time. Maybe it's just my imagination, but I associate coffee table books with a less hectic, non-connected (i.e. electronic devices, etc.) time in my life. Nice memories . . .
So pretty.

This sign is super funny, it sounds like something I would say to my students when they do something dumb that I warn them not to do. Like when they are tipping back on their chair and I have repeatedly asked them not to do that, and then they fall backwards, I usually ask how the chair is. Then I check out the student to see if they are okay.

just remember.. real tacos should never be microwaved.. but reheated in a oven if they're mostly dry.

The tortilla, like the bread.. gets soggy and disintegrates after reheating it on the micro.

Good tip! I usually have them in the oven or fried! I don't fry them but a local bar does a taco night on Thursdays and they deep fry the tortillas. They are delicious, maybe that should be dinner tomorrow. And they are huge tacos for $2.
