I'm already cooking, have my dh's oatmeal cooked for the next few days, I have my younger ds's in the rice cooker (not really oatmeal kasha and quinoa base with mixed berries, chopped apple flax and sunflower seeds. I'm going to get the "meatloaf", baked beans and mac and "cheese" in before it get too warm I'm also making 2 cakes and a jumbo pot of minestrone and one of my curry. Hopefully that will hold them off for a few days. With the way they eat.............. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Did I miss it, what happened to your oven?

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
My sister had the No Way Jose and she left all of it. Only had two scoops. I was so mad at her for not even eating a quarter of it and then she asked me if I wanted some. But I couldn't. I had my own dessert.

^ ^ And this is the best dessert on property. Possibly in the Universe!

Just remember to ask for extra peanut butter sauce! (While you still can.)

Do they taste like lobster? Never had crawfish, I'd be willing to help you eat some of those!
They possibly could taste like Lobster, but, I don't think anyone knows. The popular way to serve them is saturated and cooked in hot sauce. After the first two there really is no taste (for at least two days), just intense heat and numb lips and tongue. Also each one contains meat approximately the size of a thumb nail. A lot of work for a lot of pain and very little nourishment.

I'll pass then, lol.

We had our kitchen torn up, for about a year...remodeling. I told the contractors (while my husband was away, fix the kitchen last). I didn't cook for more than three month's...that was heaven:D
Please notice my new avatar, my husband did this for my 67 birthday, today....will be off until tomorrow, going to celebrate with the kids, and grandkids. Life is so good. Thanks for welcoming me into your family.

So sorry. I had earlier mentioned how nice it's going to be this week and would not want to turn on my oven if I could help it. It's going to be up in the eighties and considering I wore a heavy winter coat several mornings last week I'm planning to be outside as much as I can. The oatmeals, breakfast breads, meatloaves, minestrone, mac and cheese, roast broccoli, baked beans and "bacon" all done!!!!!!! YEA!!!!!!!! Still have the veggie curry left to finish! For the amount of food I go through you'd think I was raising a dozen chubby giants instead of 2 regular height thin boys!

No, I'm hoping for Charlotte. I like Alice, too. (I understand the nostalgia of Diana, but I'd kind of like seeing this girl have her own identity. I think that if they named her Diana, people might always be trying to compare her to the late Princess Diana.)
I hear you but I think that the little girl will be compared to Princess Diana anyway. Personally, I don't think they will name her Diana. However to be named after a deceased relative is common.

Happy Birthday Betty Rose... You are a whole 85 days older them me, and that is something that I appreciate because otherwise I have to spend my days in this daycare of youthful humanity. Makes me feel a little nauseous just thinking about it. Don't get your hopes up @JenniferS, I still haven't blown chunks since July of 1976.

Let's see, what were we talking about... Oh, yea... Hope you have/had a very nice birthday Betty Rose and that both of us have many, many more.

There's a drive-in up in Fairlee, Vermont, that is owned by the same people who own the motel in front of it. I've never been to it, but a perk of this motel is that the picture windows in the room face the outdoor movie theater, so that if people want, they can watch the movie from their king-sized bed in the motel!! No, I'm not making this up! :hilarious: It's true! (Note: the concession stand does not deliver to the motel rooms.)

Here's a story about it from an NBC news clip:

Is the movie sound piped into the rooms?
