My first car , was held together with duct, as everything kept splitting, that's what I get for having a green gremlin. The cheapest and ugliest car on the road.
Thanks, I had a better night's sleep, then I've had for a long time. I think it's all the fun, friendliness on this thread. Pretty pictures, and all.Good night Bets, sleep well.
Hey, that cat stole my outfit, I wondered where it went.
Are you spying in my windows?
Nope just a few spy camsAre you spying in my windows?![]()
I was laughing so hard watching this silly video, that my dog bolted up the stairs into the room here to see what was going on! Handyman's Corner has so many hilarious skits. One of my (many) favorite Red Green skits was the one he did where he created his own automatic car wash facility, using his box of neckties for the "washers". The entire skit was hilarious. Thanks for sharing this one; it's great to laugh at this early hour of the morning!![]()

Oh Eric, you seem to have forgotten, my boys go through a minimum of 4-6 individual bags/day - essentially 1 1/2 - 2 gallons. Milk NEVER goes bad here.
What I hate is the cutlery drawer full of snipped bag corners. Two snips per bag, 6 bags per day ... you do the math!

We called them "cords" too. That's funny that you all seem to call them "roys". Up here, they were always "cords".
I agree. The 70's truly seemed to be an era that kept trying to define itself and was rebounding from the interesting era that the 60's brought with so many changes for all. I didn't really understand the 60's as I was just a kid but it was fun to see so many anti-establishment elders when I was a teen actually start to settle in and become part of the establishment.
Disco was just nasty as were some of the clothes that came with it. Still the 70's despite Disco had some amazing music and that is the only part of the 70's that I identify with. My first real concert as a young teen being the
double bill of Chicago and The Beach Boys. So much fun.

I would love the prices in those days to come back too. I shopped at a shoe store in Indianapolis, and paid 3.00$ for a very nice pair of shoes.I need a time machine. I would do all my shopping in the past.
Yep her family had a farm in the Oolitic/Bedford area! Should we all start singing it's a small world? This world is a small place at times. I lived in Jennings County. We had a 40 acre farm.
