When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
This is what it looks like when you have to return your rental truck two hours before you get the key to your new home:

(That's not me - Bro #3's wife)

I am so tired. So sore. And so many pages behind.
On the plus side, I only euchred one finger nail. It hurt though.

Back at it tomorrow. Bro #1 says he's not likely to even get up tomorrow at all. Too bad, we had an awesome time sitting on the floor assembling some of the new furniture.

He reminded of the very first piece we put together for my first apartment when I moved out - a faux marble look cocktail table. I was surprised and so very touched that he remembered that. I had totally forgotten.

I really hope that his health is done declining for a while. I couldn't bear the thought of losing him any time soon. He's almost like my twin. And the only one of my brothers who doesn't drive me batty. I love them all but #2 and #3 make me koo koo for cocoa puffs.

I like both. The 70's had some great music. Rock, disco, easy listening, folk I like it all.
And me, I like none of it. In addition to not liking movies that much (except at the theatre!), I don't really like music that much either. Or musicals.

There's this one really great little flick I've seen a few times though. Perhaps you've heard of it.

OF COURSE IT'S TITANIC!!!

My mom used to make sun tea all the time in the summer. She had a big jug that had a dispenser for it and then kept it in the refrigerator. It seemed like she made it everyday as she drank it almost exclusively in the summer. Thanks for triggering that little memory for me. :)
I still do it. I have 2 jugs. One out on the deck and one in the fridge. All summer long. Happy thoughts:)

OMG! I burst out laughing with your comments and the picture to go with it! Remember, I had two brothers growing up, and I'd say that "meal" in the picture might have been a "snack" for them! :hilarious: I can't even imagine how much money my parents spent on groceries for those two boys! (And to make things worse, they were both slim. I hate that! My sister and I could gain weight if we had too many treats, or just too much food in general, but not the boys!! :banghead: )

@JenniferS how do you do the whole milk in bags thing? I never could get over that. It wasn't so much that it was in a bag (had bag milk in school that you had to stab a straw in) but that bags don't have lids. Sure, I could clip the bag but I was still always scared that the milk wouldn't keep fresh if I didn't drink it really fast. Luckily there was a Mac's across the street from my dorm with jug milk.

I have some corduroy pants that I absolutely love. They are super soft and the cords are really thin. These ones don't make any zip zip sound either. Believe me if they did I wouldn't wear them, I'm a middle school teacher and the kids would certainly say something if I was making zip zip noises with my pants!

Ha! Yes, you'd be the "talk" of the school if they made that noise when you walked down the hallways! :) Speaking of "roys" the only roys I don't like are the wide-wale ones; I never got into those. But I have always loved the thin-waled ones. They're warm and so comfy for fall and winter. I have a pair in my closet, but I used to have more of them years ago.

I was laughing so hard watching this silly video, that my dog bolted up the stairs into the room here to see what was going on! Handyman's Corner has so many hilarious skits. One of my (many) favorite Red Green skits was the one he did where he created his own automatic car wash facility, using his box of neckties for the "washers". The entire skit was hilarious. Thanks for sharing this one; it's great to laugh at this early hour of the morning!
