No thanks. I once was a teen boy, and my folks had 3 of us teen boys at the same time...!!!

When we were in the Dominican Republic there was a Nathan's Hot Dogs food truck at the dock. It was amazing to see how many cruisers were buying them.

See I was a little girl in the 70s and my mom used to sew me Terry cloth halter tops. I was very long waisted so I wore halter tops and shorts. I was very comfortable. I love Terry cloth especially now as a cover up after swimming.

I don't know if I should even convey this story or not, but, when I was a pre-teen and above, Terry cloth was the only material available in Canada (or at least Quebec). It used to be such fun to see the Quebec folk coming to any part of the states wearing Terry tops and bottoms that left absolutely nothing to the imagination. Thankfully, it was a woman's fashion because the thought of Men wearing that stuff is the thing that nightmares are made of. If you don't get my meaning, picture overweight men in Speedo's. It was pretty much that attractive. However, that said, for a young boy, it was a fairly good education.

Woof! I haven't worn bell-bottoms SINCE the 70's.
I always remember the sound of the legs flappin' against each other as people walked.

I love the way they flap. I don't get the skinny jean thing. I'm hoping that trend will reverse and bell-bottoms come back in style.

Shockingly, another movie I have never seen.

One day in the parks last trip, Mike and Tam-Tam were singing "Let's go fly a kite".
And I'm like, "What is that song?"

They just looked at me like I was nuts.

Is sweet tea as popular in Florida as it is in neighboring states?

I've wondered the same thing. I'm from the South y'all and I like me some sweet tea. I heard somewhere that at one time sweat iced tea was a status symbol in the South. It meant you were wealthy enough to afford ice and a lot of sugar. That's how it became so popular down hear.
