Gotta run! Time to start cooking for my army. 2 teen boys! Anybody want my food bill?

No thanks. I once was a teen boy, and my folks had 3 of us teen boys at the same time...!!! ;) :)

My folks still do the sun tea. :)
But, it would probably only actually be fun for someone who likes watchin' grass grow. :D ;) :)

My mom used to make sun tea all the time in the summer. She had a big jug that had a dispenser for it and then kept it in the refrigerator. It seemed like she made it everyday as she drank it almost exclusively in the summer. Thanks for triggering that little memory for me. :)

It's not so much that unsweet tea isn't available, but, not in your standard places. If there is tea in a vending machine it will be sweet or flavored with lemon, raspberry, etc. If I wanted lemonade I would buy lemonade. I buy tea because I like the taste of tea. Unsweet is harder to find in stores and mega-stores even, but, I have noticed lately that more are starting to carry small amounts of it. If you go to Disney it is powdered or mixed at the vending point. Brewed tea is the only really acceptable form for me. No flavors, no artificial sweeteners, just plain tea over ice. That's another of my pet peeves. I order Iced Tea and they come over with a glass of tea with a couple of small pieces of ice in it. I ordered Iced Tea not room temperature Tea. Tea is 99.9999% water anyway, it's not going to dilute it anymore then it already is. What's so hard to understand about ICED TEA. OK, I took my meds and I'm feeling better now. Carry on.
I agree with you. I'm very particular about my iced tea too. I like it the same way you like it. I'm also very picky about hot tea and coffee.

I was a teen during the era of penny loafers, Ivy league pegged pants and bleeding madras shirts. Bell Bottoms thankfully came out when I was in the service. By the time I got out, the fad was starting to fade, but, I did own a few pair of flares. I liked those much better then bell bottoms. We still had wide collared shirts and used to tie our ties straight down, no regular knot. It was actually tied the same way, but instead of tucking the top layer of the tie through the knot, you just let it drop straight down so that it looked more like an ascot then a tie. I swear give me back almost every decade except the 1970's. Between that and Disco, I hate to even think back to it.
See I was a little girl in the 70s and my mom used to sew me Terry cloth halter tops. I was very long waisted so I wore halter tops and shorts. I was very comfortable. I love Terry cloth especially now as a cover up after swimming.

Well, Since I have riled many people with my point of view. I am going to apologize and go my way.
I suppose this is the part where I am definitively not welcome here.

Thank you all for all the fun and comments and I hope you all have a nice life in the future.

I might be posting on the forum, but just not here.

I think I missed something, I must admit I got behind on posts and skimmed past a couple of pages. I hope you do come back though, it is fun to read your comments and see your nice flower pictures. :)

I just saw your other post, glad you were just kidding around on us! But seriously you should post some more flower pictures....

I liked cords, especially Levi. Once they were washed they were so soft and comfy to wear.

I have some corduroy pants that I absolutely love. They are super soft and the cords are really thin. These ones don't make any zip zip sound either. Believe me if they did I wouldn't wear them, I'm a middle school teacher and the kids would certainly say something if I was making zip zip noises with my pants!
