Well, Since I have riled many people with my point of view. I am going to apologize and go my way.
I suppose this is the part where I am definitively not welcome here.

Thank you all for all the fun and comments and I hope you all have a nice life in the future.

I might be posting on the forum, but just not here.

You are always welcome here. We all have strong opinions on topics and we all just move on. We don't hold grudges on Chit Chat. But what we all realize is if we put a strong opinion out there we must also accept that we will get strong opinions back especially when it involves our country in distress. We all just pull up our big boy or big girl pants and keep moving forward. Ya know we love ya.

You know what's funny?
In other news, Newsies was absolutely fantastic last night. Even if you are not a fan of the original movie, the stage performance is worth seeing. Good changes to the story from the original, which I was a bit hesitant about. And of course, Alan Menken's music. Best part was the ridiculousness of how well these kids can dance. Mind blowing.

So no work for me today. That would be good news but the reason is that my daughter was running a fever. That would be bad news but her fever has subsided and she is acting like her normal crazy self. Only a runny nose left.

Yep, remember those days. Can't tell ya how many times I had a blanket and a pillow on the floor of my office for one of my kids. On those days everyone left me alone and I actually got more done with everyone avoiding my office. Hope she is over the worst of it.

My son doesn't believe this, but I remember a time when there were no girls and boys jeans. We all wore the same Levi's and GWG's. Fit my brothers just fine. Me, not so much after grade five.

Thankfully, Brooke decided nothing was going to come between her and her Calvins, and chick jeans (literally Chic jeans :hilarious:) started to flood the market.

Until after kids were 'here' I always bought Levi's. When I was small my non school hours were spent in Wrangler Jeans. All boy clothes. There was a few years where painter pants, jean and white were the thing. I look at those pictures and laugh at me. Being thin then and those pants with poofy tushies, kinda funny.

Yep, I said the same thing in November. Hubby thought it was okay, as it was his first time. Given that it was my third trip, I was quite disappointed in the decline of quality - service especially. The food was still quite good but the awful mess allowed to sit on nearby tables for more than an hour really killed the atmosphere.

It didn't even make our short list for this trip.
(Although now that we're all on the DDP and have extra ressies to fill, I may book the kids there on our Yachtsman night.)

Yep, we are on the same page there. I blame management. I'm kinda surprised Disney upper management hasn't said something to these folks. I know it isn't Disney owned however there must be something about acceptable standards in their contract.

Since you want to go on the attack (and by God there are so many things I have to stifle) let me tell you one thing. I married a black man. I have a beautiful mixed child. Her father was born in one of the poorest sections of East Cleveland. As much as I see all the scenes of that struggling neighborhood in Baltimore it reminds me of where he was from. One of the first times I went to visit his parents the cops chased someone through their backyard while we sat in lawnchairs in the garage. It scared the sh** out of me but didn't phase the future in-laws. I saw a street fight two blocks from their house where the cops just drove by instead of breaking it up. Two sides to every coin. I thank God my ex and his siblings were able to go to college and get their parents out of there and into a better neighborhood and a better life.

There are good cops/bad cops EVERYWHERE. I have friends and family who are cops. I have friends and family who don't trust cops. Such is life. So before you think you can preach the Gospel to me, my comments aren't "from a point of view". I have sympathy to both sides and refuse to form an opinion without all the facts and follow up on those facts. Now with that CONGRATULATIONS! You are the first person I have ever put on ignore.

And on a side note question...the city of East Cleveland or East Cleveland of Cleveland proper? Both of which can be rough in places.

DW told me I can't do a live trip report. She hates having phones out at the parks. Which I actually agree with for the most part. However, she said she is cool if I post an update at the end of each day, pics included!

Yes, I think I will listen to her. :D

Wise man. Happy wife happy life.

Plus we will gladly take whatever you post and whenever you post it.
