I can appreciate what you are saying however sometimes life doesn't wait for you to grow up. My kids had to deal with their dad walking out on them at a very young age and I had no choice but to be very direct with them. I wish all kids could learn about horrible things later but just look at what some kids are enduring in some parts of the world now. The human spirit is resilient and through spiritual means or whatever helps an individual find hope, a person can persevere.
I agree with everything you said.Speaking for myself only, I'll try to answer that question. I've been going to WDW since my first trip with my mother in 1985. (Since then, trips to WDW have been off and on over the years, but certainly not every year).
Anyway, I can't recall when they started to include the Spanish, in addition to the English, recording about the monorail doors. But, I never grew up around any language other than English, so it was somewhat of a novelty to me, when I heard the Spanish for the first time. If I'm not mistaken, I don't believe that announcements in Spanish were made anywhere else in the parks years ago, until some point in time well after the monorail announcement. (My recollection of that fact might be wrong, but I just don't remember.)
Hence, I think that's why it's a memorable part of Disney history, that a lot of (English speaking) people will always remember about the Spanish version of the monorail doors announcement. It's iconic to many, and that's why the t-shirts, mugs, etc. are popular items.![]()
I'm hoping that sometime before I go to that big theme park in the sky, (yea, right) all those, scare agenda creators, will finally come to the realization that EVERYTHING we do, everything we eat, everything we touch or breath, from the moment of conception in varying degrees, will eventually lead to our death. And like quoted by Caesar, I think, they took the foil as the culprit when it was the leaving them out, wrapped up, that did the damage and it wouldn't matter what they were wrapped up in. Foil was not the problem... stupid was the problem. As it is with most things.I wrap potatoes too. And I am weary of ''it is going to kill you drama" but some say foil wrapped potatoes are going to kill ya.

Hmm . . . I just looked on the guide and indeed, there is a BYU on 374. I'll have to check that out later on today. (Usually, once I get past the news and weather channels up around 362 or so, I don't go higher because nothing beyond that ever looked interesting. And I don't subscribe to the premium channels, so there's not been much incentive for me to go beyond 362.) Is BYU a new station?
Woof.
All of that looks pretty pathetic, especially those hush puppies.
Remind me to post some pics of my Catfish Parlour plate next time we go there...!![]()
I baked some chocolate chip cookies today! I only ate about 2 cookies worth of dough.

Still, I do not expect a trip of that many days to come cheap.
And even in my case, it was one trip that I sprained it on, and two that I had to live with it on.I think it's your imagination or you have me confused with @StarWarsGirl95 and her ankles. This is the first real vacation I've been on since I've been out of the hospital with my back. I did break my ankle while mudding right before our trip in 2012 but that's it.
Don't feel stupid, I think most of would have done that in an unfamiliar bathroom. I know I would have.Absolutely. I felt so stupid for falling out of the bathroom.![]()
I sure would hate to be part of that "management pee-on one" meeting...Watching my kids 'teaming' is not dead no matter how you label it. My DS has more meetings and group consults that it is difficult to find time to accomplish the tasks at hand he is responsible for. My DD while still relatively new to her position, December, has team presentations weekly along with management pee-on one on one and group check-ins each week that take at least 6 hours away from her production each week. Basically her opinion is it does little to nothing to aid in enhancing overall numbers that is analyzed. My DD being in her position only 4 months has the highest numbers in the entire department though she has very low level seniority. She leads the entire department. It annoys her to waste time in these group things that have little benefit to her production. So basically it isn't likely to go away after graduation it will just be repackaged.
Have I mentioned I loved being self employed for the last 20 years?
Must be spring cleaning....throwing away two weeks worth of shirts, one week for each season (summer/winter). Stinks that Disney shirts shrink like crazy.
The only light switch for the bathroom was located on the outside of the door. If you went inside without pressing the switch, you had to lean out to turn it on. Took awhile to get used to that.Don't feel stupid, I think most of would have done that in an unfamiliar bathroom. I know I would have.
well, I dont think Mexicans seens the appear on square burgers lol. That's interesting. Most (if not all) of those fast-food places are franchises. The Wendy's in my area is really good. Sounds like the Wendy's weren't run as well down in Mexico. That's too bad. Maybe they weren't using a high enough quality of meat, perhaps?
