You're the expert. :)

Now......if Leia really did think Han was a scruffy looking nerfherder and had nothing to do with him ever, how would that have changed Star Wars? :D

Nerf herder...?!?!?! o_O

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
All this talk about Titanic is making me want to watch it again. I went see it at the theatre when they re-released it a few years ago, but it's been a while since I've watched it.
Yeah, I might have seen it once or twice.

Twelve times during its first theatrical release.
Six times at the theatre in 3D.
And literally hundreds of times on VHS, DVD and TV.

That kid will be therapy for the rest of his life. Any thoughts of a NHL career is over. PC's first Frozen Four Championship. Never looked at PC for a school but glad they won.

I know I feel really bad for that goalie. He might not have allowed that other goal if the other hadn't happened. But it is what it is. It is nice that a school that hasn't won before won though.

Sounds great, a lot of us are going to be on vacation in June so we will have a lot to share. You will definitely have to report back about your trip, especially the Aulani! Make sure you check out the North Shore and the Eastern side of the island. Lanikai and Kailua are great beaches, there is a fun place to pick up lunch near the Kailua beach. I can't remember the name, it was a green building though. Hubby and I picked up huge sandwiches and then walked along a trail to the beach.
Will do. This will be my third time at Aulani, so I'm already pretty familiar with the area already.

We're thinking of climbing Diamond Head, doing Pearl Harbor again, and then other than that, don't have much in mind, other than that I want to go snorkeling. And of course, doing the pool and beach and Aulani. I want to more hiking and such, not as much driving around, more activity-based. My brother too. My parents enjoy driving around and looking at beaches; we prefer activities.

My sister and I had a delicious lunch today at P. F. Chang's (Boston). Their food was SO good!!!! My sister had their lemon shrimp (I tried some--yum!!!), and I had "combo" pad Thai (mushrooms, shrimp, chicken and some egg mixed in with the peanuts, noodles and sauce--tasty!!). We also had Vietnamese spring rolls with dipping sauce--mmmm . . . loves me some spring rolls!!

Never been there before, but I looked online and they're all over the country. (@donaldtoo , I noticed that there are two of them in Austin, TX, as well as other Texas locations. Have you ever been there?)

I even had a Sangria (which I always thought was Mexican, but anyway it was on the cocktails menu so I tried one). It had some vodka and Merlot and fruit juices. I love fruity things, and it was sweet with a bit of a kick to it . . . and, not being much of a drinker, I was all giggly by the time the meal was over . . . :joyfull: :hilarious: :hilarious:

Yes, P. F. Chang's is awesome, and the Northwest Austin location is less than 10 min. down the road. :)
We haven't been there in quite some time, though.
There are just so many great places to eat around here...! :hungry:

Wow, that's a lot. For me it's The Happiest Millionaire. I've seen it more than enough times. Unfortunately never on the big screen. I know it's not most people's cup of tea, but I just adore that movie. No matter what is wrong I can just put that movie on and be provided with complete escapism. All of the old Disney live action films do that form me but The Happiest Millionaire is my absolute favorite film.

Yeah, I was never in a hurry for my kids to experience in sadness and depressing topics. There was time for all that later. I was the same way when my DD was in 4th grade, I told her next to nothing about 9/11 and kept her away from the TV. I gave her a brief war type explanation. Years later she knew more, don't think it hurt her growth. My DS on the other hand we spoke quite a bit, 5 years made a big difference in being able to process that type of information.
I can appreciate what you are saying however sometimes life doesn't wait for you to grow up. My kids had to deal with their dad walking out on them at a very young age and I had no choice but to be very direct with them. I wish all kids could learn about horrible things later but just look at what some kids are enduring in some parts of the world now. The human spirit is resilient and through spiritual means or whatever helps an individual find hope, a person can persevere.
