Well, from what you and @StarWarsGirl95 suggested, he must be jealous when I'm talking to anyone other than him. Meanwhile, sometimes I'll sit on the sofa watching tv for a few hours, and he'll be right at my side the entire time. But the moment the phone rings, he starts making noise. (Then again, perhaps, it's not jealousy, but it's his way of "joining" in the conversation?)
