Lucky.

I'm basically preparing for the fact that I will go grey at some point. My dad is salt and peppered, and my mom would be completely grey if she didn't get highlights and low lights done. She showed me her roots one time when she had to wait to get her coloring done...oy. Thankfully neither of them went grey super early; my mom started after she had kids, Dad started going grey at around 40 but it's taken him a long time, so I've got a good 15 years yet. Hopefully.

My DH started going gray at 19. My DS did also though his isn't progressing as quickly as my DH did just little flecks here and there. My DH hair was white by the time he was 40. I don't have a great deal of gray but my hair is dark so it does kinda stick out but I was having my hair highlighted before it started so there isn't a big change.

I'm sure it will. The snow and cold never really bothered me, but then when you start traveling more, you begin to realize that it's not as fun as you thought it was.

I was over snow long ago. I worked at Ohare in special services. When my passengers were unaccompanied minors with a layover in Chicago and stranded. One massive snow these kids were with me for 4 days and I could not go home, I had to stay with them. I bumped scheduled passengers (yeah that was a conversation) and put them all out on the first flights that went anywhere I could route them to get to their destination. That Spring I found a different avenue for my transportation career. I went from people and airplanes to cargo and ships. The locks close from Canada normally by mid Decemeber and usually don't open again until April. Then I only had to deal with barges stuck in the river ice.

I'm still paranoid about spiders.

I thought one was on my foot today, but then realized it was a piece of fuzz.

I have been bitten by a spider before, and because of where it was, I figure that I had to have been asleep when it happened. So my paranoia is slightly warrented.

At least it was only a spider, though. If it had been a bee, I would probably be hiding under the covers and refusing to come out.

We have a lot of spiders this year. :bored: I always spray the foundation with a real good gel barrier in late fall for the spiders and early spring to foil the ants. I didn't do it this fall and now my DD is paying for it. I don't like spiders but there are only a handful that creep me out. We've had a couple bright colorful ones outside that scare the kajeebers out of me and then their are these honk'n big black ones that I throw shoes at and then take out touch up paint. :devilish:

Elephants are terrified of mice and they are much bigger than mice.

What is your point?

;)

I hate squishing them. I get the vacuum out usually.

Or just let the cat take care of them. That's her job, after all. Except she doesn't completely dispose of them and I still end up having to vacuum them up. She tortures those things too.

Walter (for those new my 100# of happy, yellow lab) hates little dogs. they jump up at his chest or dart in and out under him and between his legs. He too is a big dog kinda guy.

I hate spiders. Creepy things.

Especially after I got bit in a really awkward place and nearly passed out upon finding it, I really hate spiders. Thank goodness when I got bit I had been on an antibiotic, or else I would have had a major problem.

A family down the street from us had a big dog and a Chihuahua for a while. The Chihuahua was clearly in charge of the big dog.

Unfortunately, the big dog died, and the Chihuahua won't go on walks anymore since losing his buddy. :(

My mom says she plucked one grey hair out when she was in her 20s.

Then after she had me, in her 30s, she had gotten some more grey and was getting highlights.

It got worse after she had my brother. Now she is two years older than you and is mostly grey. She says its my fault. I blame my brother. She said she worries about me more than she worries about him (she says it's because I'm the oldest, it's different. I cough, she wonders what's wrong. My brother coughs, she assumes he's got a cold). I'm hoping I'm more like my dad. He's almost 55 and didn't start going grey until he was in his 40s. He's still not completely grey. Of course he doesn't have that much hair, but still.

I worried more about everything with my DS than my DD. But it could be that my DD was born a grown-up.

I found my first gray hair at 19, just like my mom. Difference was, she had black hair and I was blond like my pop. Funnier yet, my 76 year old moms hair is still salt and pepper, and mine's as white as the wind-driven snow...!!! :joyfull: :D :)

Just like my DH. It really isn't gray, it is white. Yet his eyebrows are still dark brown.

Elephants afraid of mice? A quick Google search produces evidence both supporting and refuting this claim.
The old wive's tale purports that elephants view mice as a tripping hazzard, and therefore they just steer clear of them. They do not, however, stampede en masse, in fear.
Please, please, please do not tell me you see spiders as a tripping hazzard. ;)

As for squishing them ... there is nothing that says "job well done" as much as the sound of an arachnid being crunched between the folds of two-ply Kleenex.

Do you not fear that by vacuuming them up, they may arrive alive to the cannister, find all kinds of good stuff to eat, lay eggs ... which then hatch into little spider-ettes, that will make the long journey back through the hose, eventually to lay in wait in your bedroom? :hilarious:
Squish 'em. Then flush 'em.

It's official

Spiderman will be joining the Avengers.

No word on if Andrew Garfield will be returning in the roll, though the thought at this point is that he'll be recast.
I still wonder which spiderman will be.
The amazing? the ultimate? Miles morales? Gwen Stacy's version? Spiderman 3000?

One Little Spark...
yikes. I dont think any phone company offers that D:

I think I'm going to go to the concierge office as soon I touch on Disney Soil and make them change the reservation.
I hope I dont get charged, I will show the emails that I tried to fix the issue and WDW's online help failed miserably.
Do you want a US setup you can call through to avoid LD and international?

PM me.

Oh my gosh, I adore you sometimes.
Hope your b'day was awesome.
Well, the best part was my 2 parties on friday and saturday. There wasn't much today other than plan my trip nonstop (last things.. and unlocking my credit cards. So I can use them in Florida.)

I'm now leaving in mere 5 hours.

I'm nervous as hell (first trip solo to Florida, I've done many to Pittsburgh and Houston, but noone to Florida)

Dont worry about it, I will go straight to a Concierge desk to resolve my reservation issue as soon I touch Mickey Land.

The problem is not costs for LD or Calling, the issue is still english+ phone (and my deafness)

@englanddg : also, thank you so much for your help offers.. really appreciated!
