That was a good video. He really went into detail about the history of the original Fast Pass system, and then provided updates, etc. -- and not just for Disney, but also for some other worldwide parks (some with, some without any fast type of system in place). Aside of the extra pricing (which not every guest can afford, bypassing the original concept of equal access), I thought he also made some interesting observations about whether the system actually sped up waiting times, park-wide, on average.

It was almost like I was the originator of that video. Alert: I'm not. It was obvious from the first day it was started that it was going to cause longer stand-by times. Logic gives us that answer. If an attraction can handle 2000 people per hour, without Fastpass that means the even if you are the 2000th person in the queue you will have no more than an hour wait. But there is never going to be 2000 people in any single queue at any single time. If, however, you add an additional line that has priority due to paid line jump, that single line that once was the only one, will be held up over and over again causing those unable or unwilling to pay the hostage amount will spend most of their time standing in the hot, humid weather watching the more privilage pass them by. Having two lines does not mean that the attraction is now twice as fast.

Back when it first started I emailed some department in Disney, (that was a long time ago, so I have forgotten which one), about the anger I witnessed in the stand-by line. Something that in all the years that I had visited WDW I never saw before. Disney called me and asked me to verbally explain what I meant. I told them what I saw and how it felt to move only a few feet while being forced to watch others pass in front of you after you had been waiting for an extended period of time. It immediately made me start to realize the decline in the magic of WDW.

At the time, of course, Fastpass was free and according to the propaganda it was available to everyone. What they failed to mention was that everyone meant everyone that managed to get one before they ran out. After that your only option was to stand in line and sweat. It was actually the beginning of the end of my obsession with everything Disney. Any small amount of desire to go there again came to a complete end with the cost and concept of Lightening Lane. I'm old so my presence there would naturally be limited now anyway so I really shouldn't matter to Disney anymore, but I really feel that I am not the only one that is disillusioned enough to stop participating. End of rant!

Ugh! Sorry to hear that. After the procedures are done that day, be sure to go out to a restaurant and treat yourself to a great meal!

Didn't happen that way with the procedure and couldn't go to a restaurant. I was very groggy after the procedure. I am sure a restaurant was happy I wasn't there because of how bad of shape I was at.

What I can tell you is the prep was horrible. I throw up one out first eight of the prep. Then between the 1st and the 2nd prep I threw up again with looking like coffee ground despite I don't drink coffee For the 2nd prep, I throw up 6 times.

The place I want for the Colonoscopy and EGD, I threw up again before the procedures. I ended up with more anesthesia than expected. I also had tube down my throat and had on. My throat became extremely raw. They find polyps inside of me including my stomach.

I couldn't hold anything down on Tuesday after I can home including medication helping my esophagus heal. I ended up in emergency room on by 5.00 in morning after another throwing up episode. The Emergency room helped me out put some fluids in me, ran some test and prescribed medication that was able help handle medications.

I am a step 1 for eating and I'm trying build my strength slowly. What happened to me really weakened me by the prep, the throwing up, and the procedures.
