Disney reacted after a number of guests got sick after riding the Vomit Comet ( Mission Space ). Now the capsules have barf bags.

They’ve had barf bags the whole time, actually.
Funny story…
Myself and our 3 kiddos first rode Mission: SPACE just short of a year after its opening on our 2004 trip.
There was only the intense version, at the time.
Carolyn (DWifey) wanted nothing to do with it.
The kiddos and I loved it…especially the feeling of our faces being “peeled back” by the G-forces…!!!!!!! :joyfull:
Anyway, after the ride was over, I grabbed a barf bag as a “souvenir” to take back to the office and show my coworkers. A CM saw me and said I might want to put it back, because a lot of people had probably already had it up to their faces that day…good point…I quickly put it back…!!!!! :hilarious:

I'm celebrating today's glorious weather by getting my garden scissors and cutting some mint as soon as there a bit more sun:hungry::angelic:
The weather wasn't glorious for the Indycar drivers that raced at Road America today.

It was 131 degrees inside race cars at Road America today. It was so hot that after the race, fans were throwing bottles water and cans of beer to the drivers to drink them.

Today was interesting. The good part was I waxed my coat and it came out good. I'm going into the coat waxing business now 😆

It also was 92 today and I'm not sure what was happening but my apartment stayed under 79 all day so I didn't put the AC on though I'm tempted too now to help me sleep. I guess I should thank my neighbors that live upstairs and downstairs for providing that.

Road America is located in Elkart Lake, Wisconsin. A lot of Wisconsin was in the 90s todays. Where I live was around 96 degrees.

I hated them overseas. A certain ethnic group likes them too from what I saw.
Well, yes, but it's the same demographic from within that ethnic group. The ethnicity doesn't seem to be the issue....it's that age group, mentality, etc. There are just a large number of people of that particular ethnic group who live here, but I don't think that has much to do with it.

Bikes have always been a popular mode of transport here. Driving age isn't until 18 and it's super expensive. With gas prices around $8 a gallon, and the cost of getting a license...most people don't bother. Most people here ride bikes everywhere. The ONLY reason to opt for a fat bike is to illegally ramp it up so it will go faster than it's supposed to, and to impress your friends. Most people aren't buying a bike to impress their friends, so it's only a certain kind of person who is really interested in that. It's just like in the US with the cars that people make modifications on. Most people are content to just get a regular car. But then you also have things like the hydraulics, or specialty rims, or what not...the only reason to have them is the status symbol. It's the "Look how cool I am with this car that I had modified just because I can." You have the street racers who just want to look cool.

And I guess the fatbike is kind of like the street racer of the bicycle world that teenagers over here can have, since they can't drive a car. But they are so reckless!! They LOVE to come up from behind someone on a regular bike, zoom past, and then cut them off. Just because they can. Or like the kids the other day who almost t-boned me....riding 3 people on one fatbike, on the wrong side of the road, going way over the speed limit. They don't want it just to get from point A to point B. If they did, they'd just get a regular bike, or a standard e-bike. They want the status amonst their friends and want to rebel, so they go for the fatbike that they can modify to go faster.

I recently wrapped up my first ever watching of the back to the future trilogy. My word Steven speiberg never misses does he? The first one was my favorite. My little brother prefers the third one. (It has a train!) anyway I’m officially on the road to doing the back to the future themed escape room for my birthday.

I know almost everyone likes ET but according to my parents: I cried when I watched it and not good crying either.

The only time I went to Universal was 2000 and totally skipped the ET ride.

I’m glad they made the 3rd one. Number 2 was just eh. Happy Birthday! Good luck on your escape!
