I think what he was trying to convey, (based upon the earlier part of the conversation on the thread) was that it was not specifically younger people, but people of other generations as well.
Probably correct, but to just say all ages are occasionally guilty of forgetting that step, or others, when moving would be completely correct without singularly pointing out the elderly or the young. In spite of the fact that not everyone is lucky enough to get old, we have enough crap to deal with on a daily basis. It kinda makes it more difficult to hear. As of late, I'm starting to think that Alzheimer's and Dementia are not illnesses but instead are just people checking out of the realities of life as a defense. It's an "I don't want to die, but I can't handle life anymore either" situation. Disease or escape it is still a very depressing thing to think about. Sorry for the rant, it's just that sometimes things can get overwhelming.

I have faith that you'll be one of the lucky ones, who won't check out -- without a fight! ;)

Dementia is a terrible illness. Some of my family and friends are dealing with this daily and I’m trying on my part to help them keep safe etc etc. It was very sad to hear that one of my favorite actors the late Gene Hackman was all alone for several days in his home in NM ended up passing after his wife passed in the home several days earlier.

At least Baltimore doesn't have to deal with cold and a chance of snow for opening day. Milwaukee Brewers will will need their roof closed for opening day due to Temps may not reach 40 degrees outside and a chance of rain & snow.
We did have that happen in the 80s. But I'm going on Monday and would prefer that we not have that (we opened in Toronto).

Cute, but it doesn't have Darth Vader watching Tiki Birds and riding the carousel...
