@brifraz said the sky was blue down your way JEALOUS

Eh, not really.

Not a blue sky, I just happened to see some blue!! It was 95% cloudy all day, but on the drive home I spotted blue and cried out for joy. It was a delightful little patch of blue in the sky to the northwest. Gone within about half an hour... fully grey again now.

Yikes, only 30 minutes to get through Atlanta? Hope your gates are close!

No kidding. I've been through Atlanta twice, once I missed my connection because of storms in Orlando & Atlanta delayed my flight, the connection was far away and they couldn't hold the plane for the 20 of us because the blizzard was encroaching into Minneapolis.

The second time Southwest changed my flight due to storms so I was forced to go through Atlanta (was supposed to go through St. Louis) luckily my connecting plane was held and it was fairly close to my incoming gate but running was still involved (I don't run). So I was that person being paged and the last to board. Because of all the switches my luggage went to Chicago and because I live out of delivery range for them to hand deliver my suitcase I had to drive back to Minneapolis to retrieve my suitcase when they found it, or I could have waited for them to ship it to me. I avoid Atlanta at all costs.

Luckily, the gate was pretty close - and there was a bar directly next to my gate. I sat for 30 minutes, checked on work, had a double Bulleit neat, a Tizanidine, and a smidge of Xanax. Hopefully I will not end up like Prince or MJ, but it should be a pleasant flight home.

I was B2 boarding with Southwest 🫣 but ended up row 4, aisle seat, next to an older couple who look nice and quiet!

Slight catch: the rubber thingy on the end of one of my earphones came off, I can’t find it, and that will be slightly uncomfortable.

For some reason, 3 people in 3 seats nearby are complaining that all 3 of them can’t fit in their row of 3.
