got Costco membership

Thanks, I ended buying a much more expensive laptop from Lenovo.
The costco thing was going nowhere sadly

We had no A/C in our grammar or high school either. (So for the few weeks each June & early Sept., that it was hot, it was miserable.) We did, however, have school buses with actual motors in them! (No horses! )

We had no A/C in our 2 homes in No Cal back in the day. No A/C in either our car or camper/truck. No A/C in our elementary school or junior high school. And, no A/C in the bus that took me to and from junior high.
Back in Texas, our home and my high school had central air, but, our school busses had 22/50 A/C…22 windows down at 50 mph…!!!!!

Thought Texas was going to pull that one off!!

I did too. But, then I remembered that, know matter what, UT almost always finds a way to pee the big games away…!!!!!

That is not where they called. Dad called them a couple times the Woolly mamas.

Mom wasn't amused at dad.

More than likely a slight twinge of reality when one first faces the fact that time moves at warp speed and we are only allotted a specifically small amount of it. That is a real eye opener.,

I’m pretty sure I’ve mentioned this before, but, I’ve noticed, that as I age, time seems to pass exponentially faster. When I was young, summer felt like a year, now it seems like maybe 2 weeks…!!!!!

We were always freezing and canning. My sister and I helped with it. We also made the best sauerkraut in a crock. I loved that stuff. Yummy! I hate the stuff they have in stores now.

There’s one canned sauerkraut here that I really like. It has caraway seeds in it, and has a really smooth, but, classic flavor. I have been known to eat a whole can of it in one sitting…!!!!!

Never learned any of that. Odd thing was that my grandmother used to jar up various foods. She never taught us how to do it, so maybe she really didn't like doing it -- but, she liked to eat what she put in the jars.

My grandmothers canned almost everything from their farm gardens. Tasty-good memories…!!!!!

It's insane how that happens! it can be a good thing and a bad thing. I'm 45 now and yes, time goes by crazy fast! It needs to slow down for certain things, like when you're on vacation at Disney! lol
