Great, now it's stuck in my head.I love the MMRR song and ride. I often listen to the song on my way to work!
Didn't have that wine on first day of Mother's Day meal. Family had a Mother's Day toast with red wine inside wine glasses instead before eating the Mother's Day meal . I said first day because the size of the steak was so big that it took 3 days to finish.
You would like today's temperatures at my parents house. While it was the lows 80s today, My parents claimed the upstairs for their house was in the 100s.

Know the feeling. I had that song for months after I rode it the first time.Great, now it's stuck in my head.
I would never buy a home in a very hot climate with a second floor. Even with the central AC running , the second floor will not be as comfortable as the first floor of the house. For the ones in the country who have basements that is a cooler place to be minus the dampness. You would like today's temperatures at my parents house. That's an interesting point. Since (as a tourist), I've only seen a small part of Florida, I'm wondering -- do houses down there (in general) tend to be only one floor, but maybe wider to allow for more space?I would never buy a home in a very hot climate with a second floor. There are two story homes but a challenge to keep the second floor as cool as the first floor since heat rises. I'd say 50/50 ? Single story and two story homes. I've seen 3 story homes old colonial types in the North and those homes I've seen have only window unit ACs in select rooms of the house. That's an interesting point. We've rented several places with 2 floors and found the 2nd floor to be the cooler in a couple of them. Dh turns the air up too high IMHO hence the need for me bringing a few extra blankets downThat's an interesting point.
