I really like the song "What is Life?" by George Harrison. I didn't know MJ and PM sang another duet besides "Ebony and Ivory". Not the hugest MJ fan. I liked some of his songs and one of the first tapes I got was Thriller.

I like that song a lot too. Yeah, The Girl is Mine was on one of MJ’s albums, and they recorded a song called Say Say Say around the same time, released on Paul McCartney’s album. T likes the girl is mine because of one specific part where Paul says “I don’t believe you”.. don’t ask me why, but he cracks up every time that part comes on. Lol

He also really enjoys the Say Say Say video.. he cracks up during that too.

They're trying to make up for not being cool enough to win the war.
There are a number of us wishing you had. You got problems but not like ours.
He hasn’t heard the entire White Album which is one of my faves. Lately he’s been playing Hey Jude and Come Together the most..,And Imagine by John Lennon.

I have to add that he also plays the song “The Girl is Mine” often, PM/MJ duet.. and always says “this song is so funny, who would actually fight about a girl??? So weird.” 😂
As huge a Beatles fan that I am, there is an awful lot of The White Album that isn't worth listening too, but, some really good stuff too. Number Nine, Number Nine, Number Nine. In order to enjoy that one requires some relatively heavy drugs and a Lava Lamp to stare at. That said, however, that is the same album that contains "Blackbird" which is haunting and wonderful to listen too.

Girl. If there were no other redeeming qualities about Ohio (which I believe there are),.... their ice cream game is on point. Jenni's, Graeters, Whits, all amazing. Whit's is easily the best ice cream I've ever had.
I've heard Jenni's is good.. never heard of Whits either... we have a local creamery called hudsonville ice cream that is most popular here.

Blackbird is in my top 3 Beatles songs, and my top list of any artist/s. I think it’s why I love that album so much.

Yup, one of Paul's absolute best. My second close favorite is one the Abbey Road album and that would be "Because". I had a cassette tape of Abbey Road and listened to Because, over and over on the plane ride to Vietnam. I got lost in it's message and melody. Still love it today.

At one point in time during my younger teen years my parents had a friend in Xenia, Ohio. They really wanted my parents to uproot and move to Ohio. My Father seriously considered it. We even looked at houses in Xenia. For those that remember Xenia was almost completely leveled by a giant Tornado including the entire development that we were looking at for housing. Fortunately, it missed their friends house by mere feet and they were OK. Sometimes thing just work out.
