I play it by ear and will sometimes get a room on 192 that day just to shower, change, and rest for an hour before driving home. Ask me if that’s worth $35? Oh, heck yes

Beach Club has showers as does AKL I believe if you ever stay at one of those.

One and done for me. Why in the heck is there no neck support. Going 75mph , 5 g’s. My neck cracked going to the right and then the left. Ouch!!! It is going to kill me tomorrow. I may not do anymore coasters today and that sucks!

I'm about to get on Tidal Force. Boardwalk closed 30 minutes ago but Tidal Force stays open. I'm trying to avoid the changing room madhouse.

I left the Boardwalk for a few hours this afternoon and did Lightning Racers, Great Bear, Hershey's Tower, and the ferris wheel.

They need to improve the restraints. Even though you don't go upside down, I think it needs shoulder restraints. Maybe like Sidewinder, those restraints are the best.

I live 22 miles from the Durham Bulls park. I've lived here for 8 years and have gone once and left because of heavy rain. This summer has been way, way to hot to go anyway and every single evening there is a line of severe thunderstorms that float through Durham. I don't know how they managed to get it to stop raining long enough to film Bull Durham.

Might have to get Disney+. $7 for just it. I don't need the Hulu because I get it through Spotify, and I don't care about ESPN.

I live 22 miles from the Durham Bulls park. I've lived here for 8 years and have gone once and left because of heavy rain. This summer has been way, way to hot to go anyway and every single evening there is a line of severe thunderstorms that float through Durham. I don't know how they managed to get it to stop raining long enough to film Bull Durham.

When I lived in Raleigh, the Durham bulls were a new team... my 1st husband and I got season tickets where you would have the same seats once a month..... and it was really affordable. I enjoyed that.

Almost 8pm and my cell says it is 78F here at the game. It IS indeed a great night to sit outside watching baseball. Btw....when I bought my ticket the sales window lady told me the game "is almost sold out". I'll let you guys judge if she is correct. It is the top of the 4th inning and the view from my seat looks like this....

It is so crowded here. We never come on the weekends in the summer here. Thought by coming late it wouldn’t be bad. Waiting like 20 minutes just for Rita’s. They have a sugar free ice.

@StarWarsGirl, the visiting team is the DelMarVa Shorebirds. You live in Maryland,correct? Do you know if the Shorebirds stadium is in DE, MD, or VA? I think when I travel I-95 in MD I pass a minor league baseball stadium.

No pics until my art actually looks like art! Yesterday morning's session went a bit better -- no faces! We worked a bit on scenics. The main takeaway was that a mistake many newbies to art make, is that they place their drawing right in the middle of the paper. That's a no-no. He showed us a grid of how better perspective can be had when placing the picture at different locations on the page.

We also worked on spheres and how they can be used for many purposes like shaded apples (depending upon the direction of the light hitting them), or repurposed to create balloons. That was fun.

Sounds like fun, indeed...!!!
I really like to sketch in pencil, and then add detail and color with ink and colored pencils. Oldest DD likes to paint, and use patterns and such.
I believe I’ve posted these before, but, the first 2 are mine and the last one is oldest DDs (and yes, I like hers better, too )..!!!
