Even if I did move someplace without steps, I'd still find ways of spraining it. One time it was stepping off the curb at the pharmacy (the pharmacist was right there and got my car for me) and my mom did it one time stepping out of her car at the grocery store.

What can I say, we're very talented. Can injure ourselves in the most stupid ways possible.
Blurg. Sorry. I feel your pain. Mine still isn’t healed from early summer.

Same lol.
Its a neverending cycle here.
Everytime we spray the home.. the ants mover to any of the houses nearby and set camp.
And when they spray theirs.. they move back in.
I think the record was.. we had 5 different kinds of ants AT SAME TIME on various parts of the house..
We even witnessed one vicious war between big red ants and big black ants. With decapitated bodies around.

Then the annoying ghost ants that LOVE water (to the point of idiotically jumping IN ANY container that had water in a suicidal way). But also getting inside electrical sockets and electronic stuff.

Have you seen a doctor? Might be time for PT if it isn't healing.

I have. This is the leftovers from when I hurt it last fall. Finally better during winter after booted. Then when neighbors dog pulled me sideways hurt it again. I'm on my feet most of my waking hours, I walk about 15000 steps a day generally and ride my bike. I feel my best when I move and exercise, except for that ankle.

I mangled this ankle in HS vaulting, stuck a landing on the side of my foot. Not good.

I'm going to send you a photo tomorrow of the traps I found this spring as the other ones were only marginal. The brick here has vines and the ants just climb them. Being 100 year old building it doesn't take much exploring for the ants to find a way in through the tuck-pointing The traps I bought this year are new and rated as a new and best product of its kind. Being invaded in the Spring and leaving for Florida...when I came back the traps will filled, ewe and the ants were gone, gone, gone. Most success I've had with any product.

I now as a precaution buy mint oil from the baking department and mix it 1:4water in small spray bottle I got in the travel department of Target and Spray down between the outside of the window and screen and the doorways. Most insects won't go near mint let alone mint oil.

Vanilla waffles with brûlée banana.

OMG . . . That looks beyond delicious!!! :hungry:

Parmesan mushroom risotto in the instant pot tonight.

This looks good. Question: Do you use this as a main course, or is this a side dish? I'm asking because you put in mushrooms, so I'm trying to figure out if it's a vegetarian entree, for example.

We use it as a main course, you could make it vegetarian by using vegetable broth instead of chicken broth. It's not vegan though.. butter and parmesan. I skip the white wine and just add the extra stock, because I only drink super sweet wine.. not great for cooking.

Here's the recipe:

Easy recipe! I like easy recipes! :joyfull: (I also like how you can substitute extra chicken broth instead of wine -- I don't have any liquor at home.)
