Interesting thing happened at the farmer’s market today. We stopped by this guy’s booth for samples. He asked if we were from Orlando because DH had on a Mickey tee. That is most of his wardrobe!🤣 Anyway we told him we visit there a lot. He says he was in the British band Revolution for about 4 years at Epcot! He was the drummer. Sure enough I googled him and there he was! Small world!

DWifey took the day off today so her and youngest DD (not back in her classroom to get ready for the new school year until Aug. 8th) could run down to Houston to take MIL to a follow-up appointment with the kidney doc.
Fortunately, for the most part she is fine, but, the kidney doc was livid that her ex GP took her off medications that he put her on to decrease fluid buildup, without consulting him. She was again retaining much more than he wanted to see.
Thankfully, DWifey and DDs were all over this for her, and looney doc’s a goner...!!! :bored:

I am officially back in my room.

The bathroom is done, the room is done, the carpet is steam cleaned, most of my stuff is back up in my room, so it's a matter of getting the rest back up and in. Oh, and getting the new desk together. My brother and I did a good chunk of it tonight. My asthma has been not great the past two days, so he carried stuff up and I put away. Eventually he got tired (understandable) so we'll need to continue tomorrow.

I'm just happy to be in my bed and not on the sectional in the basement.

Cool! We probably saw him perform. I loved listening to the band in the UK.

I also always liked the venue back there -- the stage in the garden behind the UK pavilion. It was somewhat intimate. There's a decent sized crowd that can fit in there (particularly for evening concerts), but it's not overbearing. It's just a really pleasant outdoor venue.
