Thank you, yes, he is a great kid. Just 17, has his own car and still prefers to go golfing with me then just hang out with friends. The main reason that I packed up and moved here was to be with my family. He was only 9 when I moved here. I have a pretty good relationship with all my Grandkids or at least they don't run away. I am closer to this one because I see him more often and our personalities are quite similar. I enjoy him no end. He has a sharp wit that would put some professional comedians to shame. He constantly makes me laugh. When the three older cousins get together it is a lot of fun. The youngest, however, is adorable. She is always smiling. She is just 7 and became the first born and bred southerner in our family. Sorry, that was a very long thank you.It is so great that your grandson enjoys spending time with you.
I feel ya. There's this one person at work who I've explained the same thing to like five or six times. Including twice yesterday. Still doesn't get it.Work is making my head spin today.
My DH and my DD both are having problems with co-workers like this today. Is there something in the water or what??I feel ya. There's this one person at work who I've explained the same thing to like five or six times. Including twice yesterday. Still doesn't get it.
Salespeople really need more finance education.
Oh they are perennials? Do they take up more space year after year?Thank you! They come back every year. I planted them several years ago with seeds. I love the colors.
Good for you garden diva! lol You can get started planting some when he gets the mulch put out!
Yes they are. Mine seem to spread a bit each year. I have them in a squared-off area in my garden. They mostly keep getting taller. You can either square off a designated area for them or you could grow some in pots that were really huge.Oh they are perennials? Do they take up more space year after year?

I read that at first as millenials...Oh they are perennials? Do they take up more space year after year?
Millenial perennials!!!!!I read that at first as millenials...
Well they could be if they were planted in this millennium, right?Millenial perennials!!!!!
That is a bit early for the kids considering they have school starting back up in the fall. Does someone get T from school during the week? Maybe they could get him to practice. That is probably asking a lot though. You work further from home now too if I remember correctly. My weekly rant in the chit chat thread-
Received T’s soccer training schedule.
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 4:45pm.
4:45 all 3 days!!!
This is not school, this is a club where most people live a minimum of 30 minutes away from the fields.
It’s 2019, I can not be the only mom who has a career outside of the home.

I can't speak for millennial's, but I do know that Boomers are taking up a lot more space then they used too.I read that at first as millenials...
I have to assume they need to work around schedules of other teams that the club has and maybe T’s team got the short straw?Everyone is frustrated by it. Especially the Friday practice. We have so many early Saturday morning games..Friday is usually one day they can relax after school and go to bed early before the game. I foresee a lot of complaining and potential arguments, there will be no relaxing after school at all on any day...it’s a bad schedule. At least have one of the days start at 6:30.
I work in Kentucky and live north of Cincinnati, I would have to leave by 2:45 to be safe.. most of the team is freaking out, 2 other players live within 15 minutes of us...we’re trying to work out carpools, this would absolutely save me.
I never understand these decisions.
Oh, and I’m praying that LEGO club remains on Tuesday’s this year! That’s directly after school, at school, until 3:45. I don’t want him to quit that.
