That's nice of you to include the parents...but it's all her. I have some Spanish ability but she only involved me for the first couple of weeks. After that she used a computer program to study. It's called: "QUIZLET" My daughter inputs the info that's needed to be master and then the program quizzes her in a fun interactive manner....clearly it was very effective.
My DD uses that for her Spanish class, too.

Quizlet? I assume you can use it more than just for Spanish? I have to include the parents because they (you and your wife)taught her how to be a great student and to have goals.
I just asked, and dd said she had to use it for Spanish, but chose to use it for other classes as well.

That was quite a big plate of food for Emy! ;) I'm drooling over the chicken and sausage from the barbecue. :hungry:

As I was looking through his photos, (with all the long tables set up and tons of people) -- it reminded me of the size of a Red Cross auditorium shelter, during a storm. I mean, his "family" is the size of a whole town!!! :jawdrop: :joyfull:

Yep, Emy’s got quite the appetite...!!!!! :hilarious:
The smell wafting from those smokers in that pavilion is heavenly while we’re sittin’ out there havin’ a few beers...!!!!!
:hungry:
The VFW Hall is air conditioned, but, at one point, the were sayin’ it was 104 outside.
Most, of course, stayed inside the hall.

And, the family seems to just keep gettin’ larger, indeed...!!!!!
But, the population of pops hometown is right around 1,200, so not quite that large...!!! ;)

Thanks for letting me know, however, there is a possibility that I was painfully aware of that already. In the classic words of the great Erma Bombeck, "The only reason I would take up jogging is so that I could hear heavy breathing again." 😀😐🤨

Good ol’ Erma...!!! :)
IIRC, didn’t she also used to chime in on GMA back in the day when it was hosted by David Hartman and Joan Lunden...? :cyclops:

You put the old stuff in aquariums to feed what they're meant to feed. That way they can die, with dignity, in their own habitat and not submerged in a vinegar based salad dressing. Sea vegetation have feelings too! 😢

I think you’re mixin’ up kale with kelp, although I’m pretty sure you’re not inclined to eat either no matter how much of your favorite dressing you doused it with...!!!!! :hilarious:;)

Um, hello computer geeks..?

Someone other than myself dropped the laptop charger onto a tile floor while plugging the laptop into the hotel TV via HDMI so we could watch Netflix. 🙄

🙄🙄🙄

🤬

We got a few minutes into a program, and the low power warning popped up. We figured the outlet wasn’t working and plugged it in elsewhere. Thinking it was fine, we watched several more minutes. No new warnings, it just stopped, and won’t power back up.

Could the charger have broken from the fall?

Also, I’m in the middle of nowhere with no real stores. 🥴
