Good morning @Tony the Tigger how is Brian and have you managed to strap him down?

We’re all sleeping (except me.). Houseguests are in the guest room. Many missions accomplished today.

But when the alcohol wears off between 3-5am, it wakes me up!

11am is the final walkthrough with the termite guy, hope to get a little sun time with the tourists, hit the gym, do some work, pack up more pantry stuff.

Now if I could stop thinking about all that and go back to sleep!

Somehow, to me anyway, 75 years doesn’t seem like all that long ago that, essentially, the whole world was at war.
What a pivotal day D-Day was.
Such selfless sacrifice for the freedoms we enjoy today.

I saw that news story yesterday -- imagine jumping out of a plane while you're in your 90s?!!! Amazing, feat for an amazing anniversary.

I hope all of you get to sleep in for a bit

I was looking up the new casino in Mass because I might apply for a job there. Not sure yet. But I stumbled on this. @MinnieM123

Oh, absolutely!!!! Traffic is horrendous all around the cites, and getting worse. And where the new Encore is located, is in a heavily trafficked area. The owners are including ferries and bus shuttles to the casino to help alleviate a bit of the congestion; but seriously, when that place opens around June 23, it's going to be a massive cluster ----.

Mine’s kind of nuts. Kept my Dad away after the divorce (age 4) but then called him to “talk some sense into me” when my honor roll nerd self was “out of control.” (Age 17.)

The result of that meeting was him telling me I wasn’t messed up; I was in a messed up house. He offered to take me in. Before I had a chance to even consider, she threw me out for entertaining considering it at all.

Adding: “You have one hour to pack whatever you paid for and get out - in garbage bags because that’s what you are.”

Good times.

But, a lifetime ago. What doesn’t kill you...
I am sorry you needed to deal with that even though as you said, it made you stronger. That was just plain horrible.

Thanks! He was on Cloud 9! Seriously, the kid was getting up at 6:30 everyday, immediately getting dressed. 6 hours per day of soccer, loving every second. The trainers are just so amazing. They made it so much fun, and the kids learned a lot!

A little bittersweet though, one of his teammates is switching clubs due to the aforementioned issues, the roster thing being the last straw. They did the camp together (the camp is completely unrelated to their club), I hate to see them lose each other as friends and teammates. :(. We don’t live close to one another, but we’re going to try to plan a couple of play dates over the summer.
Is T going to be on the same team next year? I thought there was an issue with that? Sounds like he had a great time at camp.

IIRC from my 2 previous procedures, sometimes polyps are just polyps. I remember askin’ the doc in recovery after the last one when he told me they removed 3 what the odds were they were precancerous/cancerous...he told me about a million in one, to which I replied...

Hey, I was still a bit loopy from the anesthesia...JK, LOL, and all that Jazz...!!!!! :hilarious:;)
I never get put under. I watch it on their TV. It fascinates me. It doesn't hurt, just a little pressure. I watch them find and cut them out. Then they give me color pictures of them. I've always wanted to use one for the picture on my Christmas cards. Photo shopped to include internal Christmas decorations. My daughters wouldn't let me. The older I get the more picky about my behavior they get. A few years back I had ten of them. All benign, but, it makes for a lovely photo collection. Perhaps it would make a good coffee table book. I could entitle it "How I Learned To Stop Worrying and Love My Colon!" New York Times Best Seller.

Brian and I are both the same age as WDW. That’s why I love all the “1971” merch.

Of course, I was born 31 days before it opened, and he was born 64 days after; so technically I am older than WDW and he is younger.

Just like when we got married in September years ago, I was already 36 and he was still 35.

So I am always “the older one.” And I have the gray hair to prove it!

It's not grey. It's silver highlights.
