And once again, I was watching the nightly national news and your state was front and center for bad weather tonight! Be safe, please.

Thanks, Minnie, will do!!! :)
Sittin’ at the corner store waitin’ for it to slow down a bit so I can dodge inside...my umbrella broke recently and I haven’t got a replacement yet. :cyclops:
Made it down my 3.5 mile, 7 low water crossing, country backroad fine, as all the rain is comin’ from the south and we live north. Never got over 40 mph on the freeway portion before that though, because as soon as I got on it the bottom dropped out...!!!!! :hilarious:

Ours has been closed for years, so I only get to go to other places stores!

Yea, since the one in the mall 5 mins. away that I used to be a CM at closed about a year ago, the closest one is about 12 miles down the road in an outlet mall across the intersection from IKEA.
Just not the same as our old heavily-themed mall Store, though...

Today is the tomorrow I thought about yesterdayo_O
AND....the sun DID come out today:happy:

But...but...but...what about all the days before when the sun didn’t come out...?! Who’s that on...?!?!?! :cyclops::D;)

Sorry, couldn’t resist, as the sun doesn’t seem to come out so much here either lately...somebody, please wake Annie up...!!!!! :hilarious:;):)

In other news, I'm not amused.
The food prices of our local Outback have skyrocketed beyond anything I've ever seen.. in mere 2 years and despite the USD losing value versus Mexican Peso.
The prices for most steaks went from 320 Pesos to 499 Pesos, thats almost 200 pesos of increase in less of 2 years..a 55% increase in prices.
And to make thing worse, the size of the filet is now 20% smaller.

I have noticed that food portions at most places have gotten smaller, but the prices have gone up. My guess is the cost of overhead goes up and the consumer is who pays for that.

You're right. Yesterday, I wanted a chocolate frappe. Hadn't had one in about 6 months. So I stopped by this ice cream place (where I've gotten them in the past) and noted the price was a little higher. Then I noticed that the cup was about 1/4 smaller than last year!! :banghead: (On a positive note, the last thing I needed were all those extra calories anyway!) ;)
