I'm sure you're looking for a DSLR at those prices, but I have a Sony NEX-5R that I absolutely LOVE. Takes amazing pics and is super compact for what it does. Maybe you just need a travel camera to get you through ;)
Yeah, my D5100 is a APS-C format and I want to move upwards towards a full frame.

Taking photography a bit more serious. (I lost so many shots due of the D5100 not focusing well at low light)

After the Gran Fiesta tour, we toured the inspired-Frozen exhibit. Kinda funny all the kids kicking up a fuss that it wasn't actually Anna/Elsa. Say what you want, but Frozen is still hot! More little princesses than ever roaming the parks; and 3 of every 4 is an Elsa.

We then moved on to enjoy the Voices of Liberty, followed by the American Experience. I love the AE.

Should have skipped the quick, disappointing trip to the Greek food kiosk to try something I've been dying to try for the past three years - griddled Greek cheese with honey and pistachio. Gross.

And then off to Spaceship Earth.

We've since had a lovely 45 minute nap, and are now headed to the Yachtsman Steakhouse!

On another note - nothing like brushing your teeth and spitting a large green chunk of lettuce in the sink. Wonder how many FP photos that will show up in.

Gotta run. Photos to follow.
Lol, my mother was also disappointing in the greek food kiosk.
In her trip to Europe, she had some incredible Greek Yoghurt. The kiosk had pre-packaged generic brand..and it was awful according to her.

Hysterical! This character is absolutely ME!!!!! :joyfull: :joyfull: Plus, it took me three attempts to get hubby to even look outside at the snow yesterday! He hates snow, and I"m bopping around the house all elated!!! :hilarious: :hilarious: :hilarious:

Lorelai reminds me of you. She is a strong but quirky lady. There is an episode where she doesn't feel like making dinner and takes a prepacked, store bought chopped up lettuce, opens the bag, dumps dressing into bag, shakes it up and eats it with a fork out of the bag. :joyfull:

For a change (sort of), we all ordered different entrees.

Hubby ordered the 16 oz. boneless rib-eye, medium, with the white cheddar twice-baked potato.

Tammy had the 8 oz. Black Angus filet mignon, medium rare, with the cheddar/baked potato.

She declared it the "best steak I ever had".

If I paid that much for food, I would expect more. Looks good though.

All I could think of while reading the menu and looking at the fancy presentations, is just how different WDW is now, compared to back in the mid-late 80s. In a sense, I prefer the simplicity of the past; however, I think that the revamping of many restaurant menus is a positive step.

I honestly agree with that statement. I can't imagine trying to do the parks with a detailed itinerary with my kids when they were small. Heck, it was hard enough with an adult kid, fortunately we were blessed with time this year so what we blew off we could pick up later. In the late 80s and 90s we did things according to their mood of the moment. Actually in the new millennium we did things according to the mood of their teenage moments.

I love orange. I can actually feel my cheeks getting closer to my face.

Agree. We first rode it (myself and all 3 of our kiddos in the same ride vehicle) in July of '04, less than a year after it opened, so there wasn't even a green choice, yet.
After we got off the ride, we all talked about how much we loved the feeling of our faces peeling back and the negative Gs, and all high-fived each other.
DWifey, on the other hand, won't go near that thing, green or otherwise...! :D ;) :)

I would never pay that either!! I'm still holding on to my unlimited data plan - Guess I'm an At&T lifer. ;)

My DS held his unlimited data plan too, I believe he got it in 2005 and boy that kid needs an unlimited plan. When Disney first went wifi in the parks he had to shut the phone off because it couldn't handle the number of guests using it and it kept trying to connect and would kill his battery. I've never asked how it is this year.
