Good morning! I am still spending most waking hours on these shirts! I figured out how to border letters last night so I can have glitter letters on top of black. I had to use an app to do that and then upload to the Cricut software. This is really some project I undertook. One mom is going to come over and help to iron this afternoon. Hoping to be at that point today. Wish me luck.

It really is! I went 2 years ago when I was home for dad's funeral. I spent a couple of weeks with my brother and since he was organizing it (he's one of the queens) I helped out and then I got to go to the event. There are dirty jokes, musical performances, audience participation, and a LOT LOT LOT of booze. I didn't drink, but I bought drinks for the "girls" and I kept winning bottles of wine with the door prizes, which I don't drink, so my brother inherited a bunch. It was just fun to be there. There's a theme every year and people dress in the theme....the year I went it was something to do with decades, so there were a lot of people dressed in 80s style, or as flappers, etc. And they did a musical medley of theme songs from each decade. Scoobydoo, TMNT, the love boat, gilligan's island, green acres, etc. There was one for each decade. And a line dance for each decade...electric slide, macarena, hustle, etc. Good fun.

That got interrupted by a gray screen with tornado warning and seek shelter now. So I went with the kids in the stairway of the basement. Poor littlest one was crying. Luckily it had just been tornadic activity and no actual touchdown. I couldn’t imagine actually living in tornado alley after that.

It is definitely scary waiting! We have done that maybe three times since we’ve lived in this house for 37 years. So far no tornadoes. I am right there with you on that last thought!

It was 77 degrees yesterday and 80 today. And then the rain came this evening only after I clean out the back of my truck with all the wintry emergency stuff roll'n around in their bins.

Got a little bit of color, no longer look pale however not calling it tan yet. Suddenly mid 60s tomorrow is going be a little bit chilly.

I am glad another Mom is willing to help. Good luck! I hope you post some pictures of the finished shirts.

haaaaaay! My WES report came up. They finally evaluated and certified my Bachelor Degree (valid in Canada).
