Our first and last mule headed stand with are oldest (about 6 years old at the time) was when she decided not to eat her peas. In a very stereotypical parental move we said "you don't leave the table until you eat your peas". That was our first indication of just how stubborn she could be. She sat there for 3 hours just starring at us in a very evil way.

That is absolutely hysterical. Though I'm sure you didn't feel that way at the time!

It actually got to 74 here! I put on shorts and a tee shirt. Dh and I took our two youngest to the tennis courts at the park to play. They can’t and want to learn.

I was into tennis for a coupla’ years back in the day. A good friend of mine took lessons at one point and he and I played a lot.
After he moved away I stuck with soccer...!!!

Yep, she’s quite the social butterfly...!!!!!
Funny thing is, her mother was also the first grandchild in our family, so the same thing kinda’ happened with her...everyone wanted to see her...!!!!!

Yeah, I should try that sometime. It is a pretty good idea.

That's what we did... Easter brunch... My brother is an executive chef, so we all 19 of us, went to his place for brunch.... It's fantastic.. you should definitely go out!

I have a good easter meal. I had peas and carrots, Mashed Potatoes, rotisserie chicken, and Hawaiian rolls.

Sounds good (except for the peas). Did you and your brother do any of the cooking, or did your mom prepare the meal for the family?

Emy’s Easter outfit...and, yes, apparently she loooooves her some donut hat...!!!!!!!

Emy looked lovely in her Easter finery. The donut hat seems to go well with any of her outfits.

Hope everyone had a good Easter. I spent have the day working on shirts for dd’s team. I have to say that using the Cricut machine is a lot of fun. DS was really a big help. He figured out the app and downloaded some fonts we didn’t have. He had fun watching the machine work. DD was so excited everytime she saw a new part get cut. I love projects families can all do together. Today is a big cleaning day and the 2 oldest have year end projects to finish. I will catch up soon.

@Mr Ferret 88 I have been to the zoo in Amsterdam many years ago but the day ended with my oldest brother being taken to hospital by ambulance so I don't have fond memories of the place.
There are many other things to see and do in Amsterdam so even without my childhood trauma I wouldn't recommend going to the zoo.

Holland Park is living up to its name with an abundance of tulips.

I finally went to the Christian Dior exhibit at the Victoria and Albert museum, I can't sow to safe my life but I can appreciate the talent that goes into making outfits, especially dresses as beautiful as these.
