I started a new job a few months ago that doesn't give me as much time off as I had previous. I'm going back to Bali end of June to meet my brother and his family as they live in Australia and I don't get to see them enough. Other than that I am doing a small remodel of my London flat so create more storage so will be spending money on that instead of a Disney trip.
Yikes, stay safe.You already have flowers blooming? So jealous. We have snow and ice coming and our highways are going to be closed to all traffic starting at noon.

Today's kids in school have it easy. Winter storm warning was announced yesterday and everything closed. It's almost 7:30 in the morning and there's nothing on the ground. I dont even see flurries. Not to sound old, but when I was in high school....we had to go regardless of what it was doing. No heat? Had to show up anyway. No AC? Turn some fans on and open the windows. You had to hope and pray that the school system would think about shutting down. Now? All you have to hear is the slightest threat of snow or ice and they lose their minds. Then it ends up doing nothing but raining.

It started snowing here about 6 am. The ground is all covered in snow now and it is coming down pretty heavy. All schools were closed last night. We are expecting freezing rain by 3. I think the schools closing is a safety issue.

Another winter storm here. No school either. Up to 9 inches of snow expected.
Summer can come
Soon. I won’t even complain about high humidity or 100 degree days this summer.

The like was for pointing out the safety issue, not for the freezing rain. That is a major ick.

I will remind you that you said this if you complain about the heat in July.I won’t even complain about high humidity or 100 degree days this summer.

Dh isn't even going into work today. Closed the office. He takes small roads to work and if the highways will be closed by noon to all traffic, then he suspects that the local roads will not be too safe.

Congratulations on the new job. Going to Bali should be fun especially if you get to see family. And some remodeling on your flat is probably a better investment than a Disney trip, but not as fun. I’m sure you’ll enjoy it when it is finished.

Thank you, the new job is going pretty well. Turns out my boss is a Disney fan as well. I listen and sing along go loads of Disney music at work now.

Thank you, I would rather go to Disney than Bali or remodel but I really want to see my brother and his kids and I definitely need more storage and some other things done in my flat so no WDW this year.
I am planning a short trip to Disneyland Paris in October and if I am really lucky I might go to LA for work sometime this year and if that happens I will find time to go to Disneyland.
