I got a phone call @ 5:30.
Phone calls @ 5:30 are never good.

So... brand its pretty easy, theres usually 4 brands for every major company (Nikon, Sigma, Tamron and Tokina for Nikon F bayonet connector)
Type of connector refers to the type of plug the lens fits into the camera.
Nikon's standard right now is "F".

Zoom/Prime means if the lens can "zoom" or if its fixed. (primes are fixed)
And then the length or focal distance. defined in mm and shows how far they can "reach" and how wide their angle of view is (the stronger the "reach" the shorter the angle of view)

I'm no expert, I would say I'm an noob who is trying to learn photography.

One thing that always stands out with you, is that you have a positive energy level and embrace new learning challenges. I admire that. With the effort you are putting into learning photography, I have no doubt that your images will be even more spectacular in time to come. (As it is, I think we've all enjoyed the pictures you've shared, and look forward to future gems.)

Perhaps of any show, ever.

My niece was having problems with her cheating, mentally abusive boyfriend at the time, so I made her watch the wedding episode.
I said, "I know it's only a t.v. show, but if your boyfriend doesn't look at you the way Jim looks at Pam - RUN!"

Happy to report that they broke up shortly thereafter.

Seriously though, I know he's on March Break, but who goes out at 3:30/4:00?
Worse yet, he would have left the side door unlocked. I'd like to think that when I go to bed and the house is locked up safe and sound, that it STAYS locked up safe and sound.

And now my bladder is unhappy. Time to take some meds and try to go back to sleep. Catch y'all at noon!
