Sympathy like. Me not happy either😡We have been at 39 all day with rain. Now foggy. They mentioned chances of that “mixed precipitation” this week.

Sympathy like.
We actually had a few flurries this mornin’ but, it melted as soon as it hit the ground.
Gonna’ be in the upper 20’s here tonight, but, the cold front pushed all the precip out.

So I worked on this blanket most of the weekend... Screwed it up 3 times and had to redo it. I started hubby a pair of socks, and I bought this pretty yarn I couldn't resist.

That blanket is beautiful. My Mom shares that love. She makes blankets for Graduations, Births and Weddings for family and extended. Her Mom made me one just a few years before she passed. Me I can paint and craft well along with being a pretty good seamstress but knitting’s not so much.

This is what I’m working on. 8A26CCB9-4371-439B-9C05-C61EC1F20C75.jpeg

I saw it at a rural craft show. Her work was very precise. Each Pom perfectly trimmed. So I’m trying to duplicate.

Me either! I LOVE my regular Joann:inlove::inlove::inlove::inlove: and Walmart. at both places the nice people(not all ladies) are helpful and go above and beyond! At both stores they have a general sense of what I buy and let me know if something new comes in.:joyfull: They've also let me know if something is going to be marked down that day and if I said I wanted it marked it down right then and there:joyfull: I've been to the one with the "winners" a few times but have never seen the same people working there that may have had something to do with the problem

The Walmarts around here went into a very hard remodel a few years back. When done there was no longer a fabric department. Very sad day. Our Hanncock Fabrics left so we pretty much have JoAnn and Hobby Lobby both of which have downsized their stores. I did buy fabric for my DD place when she moved in from IKEA. It runs heavy weight so it was great for making drapes. I made all the drapes for my DS place a few years back but I bought ready made drapes and cut them all apart, tops and bottoms. He likes heavy weight with the coating for room darkening. It was cheaper to buy ready made ones just for the fabric.

My regular Joann has people at the cutting table and floaters on the floor:joyfull: The checkout line moves very quickly. It must be a store to store situation with staff or the fact I'm there when the store opens

Our Joann's check out is quick, the cutting table is our bottleneck. There are enough of them they just go MIA. Annoying when 3 are re-shelving and one is cutting when the lines are mounting. But heck that seems to an issue with our grocers deli department to.

I think she's fine. She posted about Stan Lee's passing a few hours ago and before that, she called a certain orange person who lives in a little white house a "dufus dingleberry", so she seems to be okay, lol.

Ha! Glad she seems to be OK. dufus dingleberry, giggle. I miss her humor and wit. I have to remember that one. My Aunt used that phrase dingleberry from the time I was a little girl and she was 92 this year.

I love hotdogs. At my age it is a treat multiple times a year but certainly not a norm in my diet. When Disney went to Chicken dogs my taste buds spotted it right away. Bluck. Quietly they have moved away from that and and have done a 180 in that healthful dog.

The twelve days of Christmas dogs. Others are intrigued, me sick at the thought of putting these in my tummy. Want a snap shot of the calorie fat content to these torpedoes since I avoid my beloved hotdogs with veggies and condements because of all that bad stuff. Add on all this....curious minds want to know. Likely my fat and calories for a week...
