Yeah...I was the kid who told everyone Santa wasn't real. My parents didn't do Santa, so of course, when kids would come to me and be like "Look what I got from Santa!" I was like, "Yeah, that's your parents." I don't think I went out of my way to tell kids Santa wasn't real, but I've always had a low tolerance for what I perceived as stupidity, so....not much has changed.
Note: I was about kindergarten when I did this, and my mom told me I had to stop. I don't think anyone believed me and they figured it out themselves much later on.
That’s my second biggest fear about my son. The first is the lost magic, but I would also be so afraid that he would ruin it for another kid or my niece and nephew.
We had a lunch date with our church pastor a few months ago, because T questions the existence and role of God so often. I didn’t feel equipped to answer all of his questions, so sought help. The pastor told him that “faith is something that we can not see, but what we believe”. It helped, but he still makes so many comments and questions.
The kid thinks Too Much.
