Yeah so, I finally agreed that T was old enough for a specific Haunted House. Said HH has an average wait time of 2 hours.. someone told me they have front of the line passes.. just googled it.

These places are out of their minds!!!!!

Either I’m getting more cheap, or entertainment is getting obnoxious. I’m not waiting 2 hours in line, and I’m not paying $80-$110 for a stupid 15 minute haunted house.

On another note.. this is our one and only weekend without any soccer games (4 next weekend).. most people are going out of town.. I actually decided we could Cedar Point Sat-Sun and only get FL+ on Sunday (much cheaper).., so I went to book it earlier, and realized that Sandusky has a forecast of thunderstorms all weekend. :rolleyes:

So frustrated with all of this.

I haven't been to Cedar Point since I was 18... whew.. 30 years ago. I'm with you... I think $20 for a haunted house is crazy. 1st of all I don't like being scared, and I certainly am not paying $50 for someone to do it!

T has never been to Cedar Point.. I promised T that we would go once he hit 54”, but every time I try, we either don’t have the time in our schedules, or the price for FL+ is too outrageous for me to justify.

We have Cedar fair platinum passes (waste of money 2 consecutive years)... but, Kings Island has haunted houses during “Halloween Haunt”.. I can buy a fastlane for all of them for the same price as one fast lane for the Dent Schoolhouse. That haunted house is supper popular, but that pricing is crazy!!

Can 1 haunted house really be better than 9? Imo this is a much better deal..

Now Kings Island I haven't been since I was about 6... geesh.. feeling old now! I think that is a better deal for sure!

I’m super excited that Kings Island is bringing back the antique cars this year? Do you remember those? It was a childhood favorite of mine!

This was the pre announcement -

Then a month later they had another pre announcement-
Made a big deal about a “coming soon” announcement on a ride that was closing.

Kiddo is not too happy about that.

I do think it’s funny that a park made such a campaign over a ride closing. 😂


Also, I just got off the phone with KI customer service, they crack me up because the employees in person and on the phone always say “Have the best day!” (KI Best Day is the hashtag for the park) I always think of “have a magical day”.

I'm not sure if I remember those or not... 6 years old has very vague memories.
