Of course you are and that's half the fun!!! I think that you and hubs (our new resident expert on different kinds of white trucks! ) should eat your way through every park, on every day of your vacation.

But hey, you're two days away from WDW, and time's a wastin' -- you two need to get into practice now. Go to the store and get some ice cream and cupcakes. :hungry:
:joyfull:

I can’t even remember the last time I stopped here, but, traffic was so darn stop and go this evenin’ on my commute home that I pulled over at the scenic overlook just off the main highway to take a short break...

Downtown Austin off in the distance...

A closer shot, the State Capitol dome is in the lower middle, if you can make it out...! :)

Made for a pleasant 10 min. breather before diving back into traffic...!!!

Ooo I am going to gain weight this trip! 😉
I only gained 2 pounds on my last trip compare to 5 to 7 pounds on the trip before. I only gained two pounds due to instructions before colonoscopy. The specialist didn't want me to eat Popcorn, chips, seeds, nuts, cheese products during the WDW trip. I was limited in amount of fried foods I can eat on the trip also besides me normal can't eat oatmeal, anything with sea salt or corn. I managed to eat some food at the Food and Wine since I was under the free snack and counter service plan.

I had a colonoscopy done a week after the trip and I can eat normal again. I got one due to me being in emergency room in early August.

I can tell you Auntie Gravity's Galactic Goodies at MK has Candy Corn soft serve Ice cream and it tasted good. They sell the ice cream every day when I was down there.

DHS did have a great snack with it being Cookies "N Cream funnel cake. It had vanilla soft serve ice cream with Chocolate top of the ice cream and 2 oreo Cookies with one on each side of the ice cream:hungry:. It is located at the Oasis Canteen. I was able to have it since I shared it other people.

We removed a Mulberry tree last year. I love trees, but it needed damage control as well. The decision came to remove it when we had a huge rainstorm and a blast of wind took out a huge branch.

We had mulberry trees in our yards when we lived in No Cal back in ‘68-‘76. It’s one of the few trees I’ve ever heard of (I don’t do much tree research ;)) that can have a, relatively, short lifespan...

I think keeping people in cages is frowned upon in most civilised places :cautious::cautious::cautious:

Oh, and dont hate me.. but I also made a decision, yesterday, to take down a Bartlett Pear tree. The last few storms have caused a lot of branches to fall, and although it was beautiful, it was too close to the house. Apparently they’re “weak” trees.

So basically a 3rd of my backyard is under hay now.. I’m glad I did it, don’t regret it, but it still makes me a little sad. The trees were really pretty, and a little sentimental with the swing.

Playing an instrument enriches the life of the one who plays it as well as the lives of those who witness the musical growth in that person.

We had a grand piano growing up, my Sis begged for it. Her abilities, well sucidoodles. She could play the notes but not music.

Me, I was much better but I never wanted to take lessons or play. I preferred my guitar but my Mom would have none of that, piano it was. I HATED it. After so many years of piano were finally over I played piano when I need to blow of steam, it became my wordless rant. I actually became better at playing rant songs that I could pound out. Big Shot, I am Woman, 9 to 5, pieces with a lot of spunk. Everything I played I knew by heart.

When we bought our last house my Mother hired a mover and the doorbell rang and there was the freak'n piano. Surprise. She could have shipped it to my Sister!!! I continued to only play it as a release but added after kids were in the mix clear my head pieces like Fur Elise or In the Ghetto. My DD had piano lessons for about a year. An X Nun that quit the Order but she was mean and my DD was done. She continued guitar and is quite good at it and she had an awesome instructor who was amazed at how quickly she caught on.

About a decade ago I gave the Piano to the Piano tuner. Amen. Enough years it took over the majority square feet of my dining room and I wanted it back. Hopefully the Piano has finally found happiness in its new home.

I know this is impossible, but it almost feels hotter night. Definitely shorts weather. But bring something light to wear over your shirt in case you find yourself eating dinner or having drinks inside. The restaurants and bars are FREEZING when you're soaked through with sweat

Sounds exactly like our trip. Half the days we went back to resort to either shower, swim and change clothes. We have many September trips under our belts but this was the most continuously humid one yet day after day. Nasty Humid.

Speaking of hawks.. I was just leaving home and LOOK at what’s on a corner of my deck!!!

Maybe it overheard @Goofyernmost 🤣🤣

I’ve never seen that before!!

I would probably leave that part bare just in case I ever do decide on a pool. But I would plant something elsewhere!

You’re really lucky that you don’t have oak trees in your neighborhood. Mine is full of them. Horrible planning by original developers.

There’s literally at least 100 squirrels. They’re everywhere. We did the live traps.. caught a few, but I stopped those after I heard that it makes those captured squirrels get killed when released elsewhere.

I’m glad you got rid of the mice!!

Ooooooo...!!!
Squirrelhawk...!!!!! ;)

You can plant younger ones now right?
