Yeah, that's where I served in February 2017. I'm pretty sure I'm off the hook. Thanks to all of you. It took several hours today but I was finally able to reach someone at the courthouse and she confirmed that this was an error, and that I should attach my proof of service to the summons and mail it back to them. Which I did. Thanks again for everyone's tips and advice. I knew Disney fans would have the answer, lol. 😜
Congrats!!!!!!!!!!! Are you celebrating with wine:joyfull:

Congratulations!! (But sorry his job is off-site, with the important work he's doing.) At least you both have a Disney trip in just 9 days, and that's not very far away.

You two love birds hang in there -- vacation is just around the corner and you both deserve it! Hugs to you on your anniversary. :)
Aww you are just the sweetest!! Thank you! I am counting the minutes until we leave!!:joyfull:
Hugs to you too!!

I used to feel like you, that pizza is just pizza, until I found Salvatore's Coal Fired Pizza in Port Washington, NY. It is the most unbelievably amazing pizza I have ever had. It is like a different species of pizza. Thin, crunchy crusts, tomato sauce just sweet enough but not overpowering. The freshest ingredients. I was never really so much of a pizza fan, but now we go every Saturday night. Also, they comped our entire check last year one time during the holidays just because we brought the staff brownies. And they just comped 2 carafes of wine this past weekend because it was Phil Monster's birthday. If you ever find yourself in Port Washington, definitely go:

Somebody moved into my neighborhood a few years ago and asked where the nearest Domino's or Pizza Hut was. We're still laughing;)

My dh got some extremely good news at work and some not so good. Not so good news is he may be back on nights after the holidays, mixed news he's going to be working 6 days a week most weeks until then, great news he's not getting sent some place horrendous:joyfull:

VERY happy for you and the family that he's not going anyplace horrendous. I know you were really worried about this a few months ago, so now you can relax a bit. As for him, those are some very long work weeks--but again, at least he doesn't have to go anywhere far.

That pizza looks so good! And from what you've written it sounds like they have good service and appreciate their customers. That's a great hallmark of a small business.

As I said mixed because he won't be under foot while I'm doing holiday prep and some extra money for the holidays is always nice:joyfull:

Excellent news that he doesn't have to go somewhere horrendous! Too bad about the nights, but hopefully that will get switched up soon too.

I would have wished the Philmonster happy birthday but he didn't ask for a Disney trip:rolleyes:
I kept teasing him that his present was a surprise Disney trip and he kept threatening divorce and murder if that was true. So he got this instead:

He also got tickets to Anastasia on Broadway and I themed the birthday dinner to the Russian Vodka Room, LOL:

Looks like another one of my plays is about to open in Columbus, Ohio. They never bother telling the playwright, lol. Thank God for google alerts.

If anyone is in Columbus and wants comps, lemme know. I can probably get you in. However, these photos are not making me have a ton of confidence in this particular production. It looks like the production budget was fifteen cents. But hey, ya never know:

Well, hell... I could love a free pizza too. Anyway, the major problem with my going that direction is I don't like crunchy pizza crust. If I wanted to eat the plate with the ingredients I would have just put them on a plate and be done with it. I know everyone is different so I'm just letting everyone know, that if the mood should hit to send me a pizza, don't bother with artisan pizza. I don't like the crunch. That goes for a lot of things including cereal. I wait for the milk to soak into every part of the cereal grain because I don't like gravely, cementy edibles.

Normally, I'm pretty progressive and willing to try things. A couple of years ago I even had a pizza in a shop just outside of Pompeii and never complained once. But, I didn't order seconds (no one seemed to mind)

Mental health day! Yep as the school year progresses (usually in January/February) there are just a couple days that a mental health break is necessary. Adulting is hard sometimes. I hope you had a good chill out day.

Thanks... I don't take them very often.. in fact, I didn't call out at all last year... the past two weeks at work has been brutal and nothing is going the way it's suppose to at work... so I just needed a break. I hear from a co-worker I made the right choice. It was another brutal day.

I hope things get better for you at work. Look on the bright side tomorrow is Friday then it's the weekend! Hopefully more time to chill out on the weekend.

Everyone here is complaining about the heat.. but I love it!!!

I’ll take an extended summer.. I’m dreading cold temps.

I’ll take the heat over cold and snow any day however my sweet spot is 60s to mid 80s. The humidity and heat index over 100 got to me at times this trip. The World Showcase concrete makes it that much worse, like a brick oven. It amazed me how differently the WS felt to Future World which was far more bearable
