I just saw this and had to share!! Do you guys remember my reference of living in a year of puke due to T’s gurd?

There’s a lot of times when I miss the baby days.. and then I read something like this, and the memories come flowing back ;)

How are you holding up?
When I make a pot of gravy we do get a few nights out of it seeing only 3 eat it but never enough to freeze anything:banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:
I am fine. I have just come inside from mowing the backyard. We had tons of leaves and broken limbs that I picked up. As long as I can do busy work, I am good. That way I am tired and will sleep tonight. ;)
Even with just cooking for two, I don't always have leftovers either. I try to fix enough for dinner and maybe lunch the next day. Neither of us like to eat too many of the same meal. I think both our Moms did that when we were growing up, and we can't stand it now. The only things I usually have a lot of is ground turkey that I made tacos, meatloaf, meatballs, things like that. If we don't want any leftovers, I will freeze them for another time.

I like this more than once but can't click it that way:facepalm:
I'll ramp it up a bit. Since 11am we have had constant sunshine. I'm officially going to claim that the storm, for us, is over. The worse part was waiting for it. However, that said, there is a lot of NC still underwater. Thousands unable to get back to their homes and I think the last count was around a million with no power. There is a long way to go. I don't know why it missed us here, but, it did and I am very thankful that it did. Last I heard I-95 was under water in places as well. A whole lot of people have come into the state to help out and it is appreciated. I'm glad that as a population, the country as a whole are still good people.

That’s what happens when you have a big family😁
With the exception of not using Turkey (which by the way legally needs to be served in bird shape) that is the same recipe that I use with a couple of minor changes. I freeze them all and since my family consists of me (1) I just use them up over time. Can we all say how handy microwaves are? I add onions, oregano and a whole lot more garlic. Breath is not a problem when you live alone.

The house is relatively clean. Just the deep cleaning I've been doing all week is not done yet. But it's down to rooms that can wait. I need to get to the craft store so I can finish my costume for the halloween party though. That cannot wait. And I need to pack, LOL. Last trip to Disney, we were all packed up three weeks out. I feel so disorganized this trip, so I'm just planning on going with the flow. Whatever happens, happens. I'm sure we'll have fun and I'll get another one of those pink donuts, so life will be good!!
Going with the flow is the easiest way to handle a Disney trip.:)
