Easily, but not cheaply. It's not bad enough yet for me to have to deal with it. Also, my medical needs are taken care of by the Veterans Administration. I haven't had time yet to find out if this is one of my covered benefits. Actually, what bothers me more then the cataract itself is the fact that all the signs and symptoms of old age are starting to sprout like tulips in the spring (up here where we have tulips in the spring). It is an easy fix now and since I have them starting in my right eye as well, maybe I can get both taken care of and like magic I won't need glasses at all anymore.

However, the eye patch thing would indeed make me look pretty cool.

(The toilet papers were each 40-packs. These three items pretty much filled my cart.)

Yep, glasses and hearing aids along with cataract surgery was covered by the VA for my Dad. He hasn't needed to use it because his Union insurance has been over the top and has covered everything that has happened to him.

I cant find the page off hand I normally go to for my Dad but here is another link I found while searching for the one I had favorited on my old laptop. Oy.

Everywhere I turn new Frozen merchandise is popping up even in stores that normally do not handle this type of stuff. It is beyond overwhelming for those of us that have seen enough of it but for those who can't get enough they are in their glory.

What will be telling soon is if all this overload of Frozen stuff everywhere is if it continues to sell at the rate it is now appearing in 2015. Initially there was a shortage of merchandise so of course parents and fans were purchasing everything they could their hands on...not the case anymore.

I still wonder if its a global phenomenon or just some countries that got the frozen fever.

Here's the kicker - three years ago when our dollar was worth more than the U.S. dollar, prices up here were still bloated; ergo Canadians were flockng over the border in droves!

Retailers have three main excuses for higher prices:
Economy of scale - our population is 1/10 of yours, and spread out over a vaster area. Our stores have reduced negotiating power and a much larger distribution area.
Climate - most of our fruits and veggies must be imported. We have a significantly shorter growing season, and let's be honest, there is no way we can produce oranges, pineapples, cotton, sugar cane ....
Taxes - as I've said before - Universal healthcare may be free, but it ain't cheap.

Other factors - higher tariffs, mandatory bilingual packaging, and of course, the fluctuating dollar.

Yep, same here. As I've posted before, I can see a gnat on a dog 200 yds. off ;), but, when it comes to the close up stuff, I need my +2.50 drug store cheaters. No bifocals though, I just wear 'em so I can either look through 'em or over 'em, as needed. :)
