It was a productive day we went to the farm market(cornered the market on peppers again I swear we never have enough), got the fabric for the Harry Potter robes at 70% off:inlove:, Target run, Walmart, Wegman's, Aldi's and got James set up for his classes. I may have a smallish glass of wine tonight:angelic:

Wish me luck I'm officially a home school mom and James' schedule which he picked out all by himself looks like a tiger mom picked it out. Honors math and science with computer tech and science as his electives. BTW does anybody speak Japanese? That was his language choice. He may wind up living in my basement if I don't have a nervous breakdown first
So how do you handle extra-curriculars like music? He just doesn't do those for this year? Or have you worked something out with the school?

My sister knows some Japanese; it’s not a strong point though. Sounds like James is one smart kid!

I'm choosing to no longer believe DHS wait times today.

TofT said 30. It actually went straight to the library.

TSM said 45. No way is this 45. We've waited 15 and we're more than halfway through.
That’s normal nowadays. I think they like to factor in the ride time as well as wait time. [e.g. FoP wait time (150 min) includes queue, pre-show, and ride time].

I love all your shirts. Your General Tsao’s spelling was correct. Still don’t get what curds are. I just think of Miss Mary Muffet when I hear the word curd. :hilarious:

Cheese curds are just pieces of cheese. Cheese is made of pressed curds. You could also think in terms of cottage cheese those are cheese curds too, just tiny. Curds can be eaten plain, battered, or breaded.

A butter bust. That is a new one. :)

That's the northern Mid-west for you!

It's nice that he is challenging himself. Does this mean that you don't have to worry about snow days anymore?
