It would seem these are your Fast Pass suggestions for me?
I have a thread on the Planning forum too.
I'm getting help from or in all directions :joyfull::happy::cool:
I have a "situation" that maybe some of you would like to comment on.
I just learned that Rivers of Light is a good evening show at Animal Kingdom. It is eligible for a fast pass so you can get a better seat.
So.....I looked at my dining for that night.....our AK night is Thurs. Nov. 8th. Our dining reservation is somewhat late-ish.
We are at Yak and Yeti....reserved for 7:15pm.
Are we gonna miss the Rivers of Light Show because of that?
Nov. 8th, what is your guess for what time that show begins?

I looked at what the show time was for Rivers of Light on the WDW site and it says that it is at 6:30pm for November 8th.

So you will have plenty of time for the the show at 6:30 and your reservation at 7:15 at Yak and Yeti. I really like Rivers of Light but I wouldn't make it one of my first 3 fast passes (unless I was arriving that day and I going to be at the park in the afternoon or later). If this is your Animal Kingdom day and you are starting out in the morning you'll probably want to use the first 3 fast passes for other attractions that you can do early in the day. Perhaps use it for a 4th fast pass or just go stand by.

Wow! We can enjoy the show and then walk directly to dinner?!?! That would be amazing! Show duration about 30 minutes or what duration?

According to the audio recording I made of the show it is about 17 minutes long. There is a bit of a "pre-show" as the mood is set with some lighting and some of the performers sometimes walk down the aisles. In my opinion the music is the star of the show, with your music background I think you will love the music too. Because of the animals there are no fireworks, there is fire though, so some people are a little ho-hum about the show but I like it.

Disney is fairly prompt about starting a show such as this, right? So it seems like we'll be on our way walking away from the show by 7pm and we are "golden" with a 7:15pm Yak and Yeti reservation. I love a happy ending!

Yeah they start pretty much on time. Your dining time is safe. Even if for some reason you were a little late it would be okay.

No traffic at 7 AM? :jawdrop: Good grief, our roads start backing up before 5 AM, on workdays!!
Unlike Boston, most of our workforce is not located in Baltimore, but in the surrounding areas, so our back roads don't start to clog until around 7:30 - 8 ish because most people live nearby and leave closer to when they actually have to work. A lot of major companies are located near Baltimore instead of in it. Under Armour and Cover Girl are the exceptions.

The Baltimore Beltway is another story. That is always bad. But it was a summer Friday, so it wasn't bad.
