Are you sitting down? I made steak brushed with brown mustard then browned. Then I added onions, garlic, mushrooms a bit of sherry and cooked it down. I also made corn and glazed carrots to go with it. I also made a batch of greens and beans that the boys say taste like hot dogs and veggie pasta with tomato sauce. I better not have to cook tomorrow but I'm sure I will:bawling::arghh::banghead:
I made quinoa with spinach, onions topped with a sundried tomato pesto for dinner.:hungry:
We did finish painting the downstairs today. Tackled the untackable room, and I survived. First day of school tomorrow. A light day to get back into the swing of things.;)

No
We went to AK after spending most of the day at the pool. It was stormy for quite some time and cleared the park out. Evidence? Navi River Journey was no wait.

There was some very interesting lightning in the sky. After it streaked across the sky, someone said (note, very seriously) "Wow. Glad we're under the dome." :cautious::banghead: Stupid people.

The only reason I didn’t like PE was the locker room part. Boy did I learn to dress and undress real quick. I never minded the physical activity and even learned to enjoy my senior year jogging class. It was the only one that fit in my schedule.

PE was a total waste of time when I was in high school. The gym teacher was only into team sports (which I didn't care for). For example, I made it a point to be as far out, in the outfield during softball--because I knew the girls could never hit the ball that far. Hence, it was a standing around gym class for me. Also, our gym uniforms were beyond uggo. There was so minimal time to clean up and get dressed again for class (in the middle of the morning), and my classes always seemed to be the farthest away from the gym area (I went to a large high school).

I hated PE because I'm so uncoordinated. I was terrible at sports, having no hand-eye coordination whatsoever. So no matter what torturous sport they tried to teach us, I failed miserably. I did ok with Badminton because my partner was actually really good. But pretty much everything else was terrible. I remember playing kickball one day, and I was always picked last for teams....I think I was pitching, and this guy I had a huge crush on....most popular guy in my class, kicked the ball so hard and it slammed into my stomach and knocked the wind right out of me, and it HURT!!! SO embarrassing.
My Junior year wasn't too bad...I had a weight lifting class, so no team sports or hand-eye coordination required. We ran for 45 minutes on Wednesdays, but every other day was just lifting weights. But an athlete I am not!!

We didn't have gym uniforms. We just had to wear tee shirts and shorts or sweats. I think senior year I had gym and then my last period was lunch, so I ended up going home early since lunch has no attendance.:D

I got put in the outfield because I could run and catch. Both some of the boys and some of the girls could hit the ball really well. Besides didn't you like running and sit ups?
