Some trim starts life as painted, usually white. What I object to is natural wood covered with huge globs of white paint. Might as well have it all made of plastic.

This is what is happening in some of my rooms. The 2 renovated bathrooms are getting new trim.. but the hallways are oak, I’ve had it.. I want them white.. I no longer care about ruining wood.

I will say that I’ve gone back and forth so many times on having my house painted.. I’d love to do a gray.. everyone tells me NOT to cover up the brick because it’s too expensive and almost impossible to ever go back.. I don’t think I would go back to the original brick.. but I haven’t been able to pull the trigger on paint.

That last sentence says it all. You can't pull the trigger because it would be just wrong. ;):jawdrop::joyfull:

...or I don’t want to deal with the upkeep and expense of painted brick 😂😂😂
Whatever works. To me paint is the absolute cheapest way to cover problems, but, brick and stained wood are never a problem and it's natural beauty is something to behold. I've been watching a few old home recovery shows on TV lately and especially in the topic of fireplaces one of the first things they do is sandblast the paint off the brick and bring it back to it's original beauty. But, listen I know that many people just like the painted way more, in fact I even have a daughter, that I am probably going to write out of my will, that would paint the Mona Lisa white if you let her. What other people do is of no real concern of mine, but, I just hate to see it.

I'm only teasing. Sometimes the veggie options are nicer than the regular food

Eh...not as much as nowadays. It’s a 1967 Audrey Hepburn film, kinda along the lines of Charade (but without Cary Grant). I would say it’s extremely suspenseful, with a few jump scares. Here’s the poster for it:

I have seen a lot of her movies but for the life of me I can’t remember this one. I will check it out sometime. Thanks for the suggestion!

She'd hate our DVD/Blu Ray collection. I try and keep it organized but, boys:banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:
Seriously, my two "GIRLS" could probably run circles around your boys as far as clutter was concerned when they were growing up. They both seem fairly neat now, but, it wasn't from early childhood practice. Our house always seemed smaller due to the fact that their bedroom doors were NEVER left open. The board of health would have been at our door in nano-seconds.
